Navigate the ‘Now or Never’ story quest in Dying Light 2 with this step-by-step walkthrough. From escaping the infected to making critical decisions, this guide ensures you stay on track and complete the mission efficiently.
Now or Never Quest Walkthrough
1 – Escape!
Flee from the Infected. Follow the marker and keep moving. Safety awaits once you swing through the window on the rope.
2 – Find a Way to the Van
Head downstairs, following the marker, and confront the Renegades. Afterward, descend through the elevator shaft.
3 – Get into the Stronghold
Engage the Renegades as you step out of the elevator. Then, head through the main door and board the van.
4 – Find the Colonel
To access the main building, start by entering the water and using the pipe to ascend. Once inside, make your way to the roof by climbing from there.
From this point, you can enter the building. The Colonel is located in the “Pump Section.” To reach him, follow the yellow pipe and climb down the ladder. Proceed straight through the corridor, eliminate the guards along the way, and finally confront the Colonel. When the time comes to make your choice, I chose to go against him.
5 – Defeat the Colonel’s Guards & Lower the Bulkheads
Defeat the guards and lower the Bulkheads to grant Matt entry into the building.
6 – Search for the Colonel
Head deeper into the stronghold, following the marker, until you reach the Colonel’s wife in Waltz’s quarters. There, you’ll discover three of Waltz’s Tape Collectibles.
7 – Find the Colonel in the Drained District
Meet Jack Matt outside and follow the marker through the drained district. Fighting the relentless Uber-infected is futile – they just keep coming. Instead, focus on running to the destination: a secure bunker.
8 – Find a Way into the Bunker
Access the bunker through the hatch on the roof. Once inside, navigate your way through, confront the Renegades, and make your decision regarding the Colonel’s fate. Afterward, return to Jack to complete the mission.
