The Troubled Shakatu quest in Crimson Desert begins a new questline for the Goldleaf Merchant Guild following the events of Chapter 2. This is a short setup mission, but it introduces the larger Extinguishing the Last Flames storyline and unlocks multiple follow-up quests.

Starting the Quest
To start the quest, travel to the Goldleaf Merchant Guild after having defeated Hornsplitter at the end of Chapter 2. Shakatu is troubled about something. Maybe you can help him? He’s by the purple tent.
This quest is the first of seven for the Goldleaf Mercant Guild -> Extinguishing the Last Flames.
When you talk to him, he asks you to follow him. He suspects traitors among the guild members and asks Kliff to handle the interrogations. The “Troubled Shakatu” Quest will be completed after the conversation, but 5 individuals are highlighted on the map as individual quests.
