Crimson Desert: The Screaming Vault Ancient Ruins Walkthrough

The Screaming Vault is an Ancient Ruins puzzle found west of Demeniss City in Crimson Desert. To solve it, you need to leave the vault, find three scarecrows in the surrounding agricultural fields, note the symbol painted on each one, then return and rotate the three in-vault symbols to match. Completing the puzzle rewards you with an Abyss Artifact and the Memory of Turbulence – a treasure item that reveals all hidden locations on the Demeniss map.

Dodge the room with the traps and go to the back. The Ancient Artifact rewards pillar is in the center, surrounded by three rooms, each with a round, turnable symbol. Look for a map with three “X” marks on it. These are the locations where you will find the symbols’ correct alignment.
