Help out the Longleaf Tribe in the south of Odeck, and then you will get a notification that there is something wrong north of Pailune.

Description
The Lonely Jackals have seized Skallcove. Drive them out and liberate the village.

The Lonely Jackals have taken over Skallcove village in the north of Pailune City, by the river. Defeat their vice captain and liberate the village.

Master of Thunder

1 – The Clue for Chaos

Description
Someone might know how this chaos began.

Now you can talk to Eldan, the chief of Skallcove.

2 – Ancient Barrier

Description
Legend says that there used to be a barrier protecting Windsong Peaks, where lightning strike constantly since long ago.

If you can do this during the in-game daytime, it will make your life so much easier.

Head east, up the path to Windsong Peaks to connect an ancient lightning device. The X guides you to a pillar with 5 glowing stones.

There are five lightning rods to activate in a specific order.

Find the five lightning rods around this pillar. The lightning rods have to power an endless circle going from 1 to 5.

The first one is to the northeast of the pillar. Don’t touch it.

A second lightning rod, the one next to the Abyss Nexus, has to be repaired. Pick it up with Nature’s Grasp and put it into the socket. Turn it with the handle so the lightning travels to the third rod.

The third is on top of the mountain peak in the west. Don’t touch it.

The fourth rod is in the northwest. This one is turned off. Grab the handwheel and turn it so the indicator is at the center. You will hear a hissing sound. Press the button to start it up.

The fifth is broken like the second one near the Abyss Nexus. It is locked in ice. Double jump and use Aerial Force Palm. This will free the rod. Pick it up with Nature’s Grasp and carry it to the socket.

This will start up the endless power circle. All coils on the platform are now charged. Return and stand on the center platform to complete the puzzle and repair the Ancient Barrier.

3 – Fallen God

Description
The barrier has been restored, but the source of the lightning still remains. Defeat the fallen god at the mountain’s peak.

Travel north to Windsong Peaks and defeat the Fallen God. The fight has three parts. In the first two, you will fight him like in a standard boss fight, dodging and avoiding the lightning attacks. In the last round, wait until his fist lands on the combat field, then make sure to hit his hand and not his armour.

5 – Restore Balance

Description
Share what happened at Windsong Peaks with the village. Skallcove will find peace again

Return to Eldan at Skallcove’s Dangsan Tree and talk to him.

This item is in your inventory and grants a large amount of Pailune Contribution when used.
