The Old Friend quest in Crimson Desert is a short-story-focused mission set in the back alleys of Hernand. Unlike previous quests, this one is quick to complete but can still be easy to miss if you’re unsure where to go.

Starting the Quest
This quest is automatically given at the start of Chapter 3, after defeating Hornsplitter.
Quest Description:
“The Goldleaves had some Information on someone calling himself a Greymane. Go look for him in the back alleys of Hernand.”
Investigate the Back Alleys of Hernand
There is a quest marker in the northern parts of Hernand. Go there to look for a Greymane. You will meet Marius again. This will lead to the next quest: First Step to Rebuilding.
