The Nonhuman quest in Crimson Desert continues The Face Behind the Mask storyline and introduces the tracking mechanic using your lantern. After investigating Glenbright Manor, you’ll need to follow the Count’s trail and locate your missing companions.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to track the trail using your lantern, where to go after leaving the manor, and how to find Andrew and Naira step-by-step. Follow along to complete the quest and continue the story without losing the trail.

Chapter 3: The Face Behind the Mask Overview
This is the third quest of five in the “The Face Behind the Mask” story block in Chapter 3.
1 – Return

Completing these five quests will lead to the third story block in Chapter 3: “Pioneering”.
Starting the Quest
“Nonhuman” is the third quest of the story block “The Face Behind the Mask” in Chapter 3. It starts right after “Traces in the Manor”.
Quest Description:
“You discovered fresh tracks from the Count’s escape. Find and reunite with your comrades before the lead is lost.”
Track the Devil of the Reed Field
The survivor at Glenbright Manor told you that they had all escaped through the window. Shortly after, the game’s tracking system was introduced – Using the lantern to find the trail. (Guide #136 in the game menu).
Exit through the window in the study, drop down to the ground level, and look for the trail with your lantern.
You will be attacked again at the workers’ housing south of Glenbright Manor.
The destination is a farm in the southwest of Glenbright Manor.
Find Andrew and Naira
When you open the map, you can see Andrew and Naira as white and blue dots. Follow the road into the farm, and you will see a cutscene. The two are inside the guarded house together with the count.
Approaching the house will complete the quest, and “Seed of Unease” begins.
