Crimson Desert: Connor’s Request Quest Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

Complete A Rumor at the Inksworth Bindery to find Connor together with Eric and Oliver.

Quest description:
“Connor wants to contribute to the camp funds by crafting and selling accessories, and asked help on gathering minerals for making a sample piece.”

Talk to Connor

Connor is Howling Hill’s Lapidarist. His shop is in a tent near the main tent and the cook. On the map, you can see a necklace symbol at his location.

Connor manages the camp’s jewels. From sparkling gems to intricate accessories, his handcrafted works bring a touch of the extraordinary.

Collect a Piece of Gold Ore

After liberating Karin Quarry in the northeast of Hernand Town, you have to receive a Gold Mine Map. If you haven’t already, look for it in your inventory, “use” it, and learn the gold mine locations. I went to the gold mine near Anvil Hill, north of St. Halssius’s House of Healing, the Anvill Hill Cave.

The cave entrance is blocked by a huge stone. This boulder has to be destroyed the same way as you destroyed the boulders before reaching Scholastone. Enter “Focus”, then use Force Palm in “Focus” to shatter the stone to free the entrance.

Follow the tunnel into the main cave. Be aware that there is a Stoneback Crab here (the big round stone on the cave’s floor). You may want to defeat it before mining gold. Apart from gold, you can also mine stalactite here (stalagmite would be the correct term in the screenshot, but both are present in the cave).

Hand Over the Gold

Return to Connor and hand over the Gold Ore. You now have a Jewelry Shop at Howling Hill. Connor also sells Garnet, Epidote, and Azurite.
