Stoneblood Forest POI’s

The Stoneblood Forest has five POIs – Points of Interest – on the map, marked with a blue pin. Below you will find all the POIs highlighted on the map.

Collectibles

ECHO Logs – 2

1 – Congrats, Noob

The second ECHO Log is in Vile Lictor’s Bunker in the far north of Stoneblood Forest. It is in the first bunker room on the second floor. You can reach this area during the “The Boss” Side Mission Quest line, specifically in the Mob Justice Side Mission.

Description:
“A worker welcomes fresh arrivals to their new station.”

2 – I Love You THIS Much

This ECHO Log is at the Substation Canonary. You will get through here in the Story Mission: His Vile Sanctum, and the ECHO is in the room before you have to destroy the limiters with Bruce.

Description:
“Lictor orders surveillance of the Timekeeper.”

Dead Bolt – 1

1 – The Distance

The Dead Bolt is at the bottom of the canyon at the Gilded Drop POI.

Description:
“Marial Polonko. Eunomia. 63,072 hours. Unknown.”

Lost Capsule – 1

The Lost Capsule is just south of the Safehouse at Crueltown in the camp below the bridge. Carry it to the Safehouse in the north.

Propaganda Speakers – 2

One Propaganda Speaker is just south of the Snowy Wells Safehouse.

2 – Southern Border

The Propaganda Speaker is on top of the overpass by the border.

Evocarium – 1

1 – Eridian: Rebounding

The Evocarium is by the river, just west of Substation Canonary in the north.

After interacting with it, the three orbs will appear. All of them are visible from the Evocarium device. Two of them are on top of the nearby buildings, one of them on top of one of the wildlife burrow spawn points. Return to the Evocarium to pick up the collectible ECHO Log.

Auger Shrines – 2

1 – Near Gilded Drop
2 – Southern Border

1 – Near Gilded Drop

The Auger Shrine is in the center southeast of Stoneblood Forest. You can easily reach it by coming from the Low Leys’ Ancient Crawler: Eureka Stane.

2 – Southern Border

There is an Auger Shrine on top of the tower at the southern border of Cuspid Climb. I was able to access it coming from the northeast.

Vault Symbols – 3

1 – Sainted Cup
2 – Waterfall Hideout
3 – Abandoned Auger Mine

1 – Sainted Cup

Just north of the Sainted Cup POI, by the Side Quest “Crack This Guy’s Back”. Approach it from above to reach it.

2 – Waterfall Hideout

Between the Safehouse and the Claptrap Aeronautics Academy POI is a bridge with a waterfall. The Vault Symbol is in the cave hidden below the waterfall.

3 – Abandoned Auger Mine

Climb up the mountain just west of the Abandoned Auger Mine entrance in the north of Stoneblood Forest to find the third Vault Symbol.

Activities

Abandoned Auger Mine: Bittervein

The Abandoned Auger Mine is in the far north of the Stoneblood Forest.

Follow the path to enter the first cave room with Kratch to defeat. From there, use a ladder to get to a top platform, where you can jump onto the surrounding platforms to reach the passage high up on the other side. Follow this path as well (needs to be crouched) into the second room. Here, you have to reach the top to advance. There is a grapple point you can use.

In the third room, head through the red-lit passage into a fourth room. You have to grapple and pull the hanging, square platforms to cross the room to finally arrive at the vending machines on the other side to fight Bramblesong.

Ripper Drill Site: The Lowering March

The Ripper Drill Site Activity is in the center of the Stoneblood Forest. Fight the Battlewagon.

Safehouse: Snowy Wells

The Snowy Wells Safehouse is in the center of the Stoneblood Forest Region. I accessed it from the southwest, but there is an access road in the east.

To claim it, you need to get the datapad on the tower with the broken bridge east of the Safehouse. Reach the top of the main building, where you can glide across to get the datapad. Look for grapple points to get to the top of the main building.

The terminal is outside in the south of the main building.

Bobbleheads

Substation Canonary – First Rooms

Have a good look around after entering the Substation Canonary in the Story Mission: His Vile Sanctum. After the vending machines, which are outside, search the first rooms carefully for this bobblehead.

Sage Against the Machine

In the Side Mission “Sage Against the Machine,” you have to climb a building using boxes that you have to pile up to a tower. After building the second tower, you get access to a small bathroom with this bobblehead inside.

Father of the Glide

Side Mission Start:
Claptrap Auronautics Academy in the northwest.
What it is about:
Perform a couple of gliding tasks for Claptrap.

Side Mission Steps:

-> Jump, climb, glide: To Claptrap’s green hologram.
-> Get up here: Up the hill to the west.
-> Take glide of faith: To the south.
-> Get back over here: Glide back.
-> Go to challenge 1 start: Yellow platform in the northwest.
-> Glide and Climb: To the platform to the west.
-> Get way up there: There is no direct path. You need to glide to the left first, then to the target point. Arrows highlight the path.

-> Hope you like heights…: Turn around and jump-glide back where you came from. The target is at the top of the mountain.
-> Complete Challenge 1: Glide over to the round platform to the south.
-> Down there: Look down towards the east to find the next platform.
-> Go to challenge 2 start: The yellow platform in the north.
-> Step lightly: Head to the northwest. Use the vertical wind tunnels.
-> Slide and glide: Get to the platform in the west. No need to use the slide. You can just climb the nearby higher rock and normally glide across.
-> You know what to do: Continue on doing the glide parkour.
-> Complete challenge 2
-> Time to fly: Hop on Claptrap’s chopper.
-> Glide to challenge 3 start: The yellow platform to the north.
-> Ride the air: Use the vertical air vent.
-> Up and over!, climb up: Another air challenge.
-> Down and under: Drop down to the bottom. Then, use the air to get to the platform in the southeast.
-> Around the bend: This is the hardest so far. You need to use three wind tunnels in succession to reach the green platform.
-> Race Claptrap to the finish line

Sage Against the Machine

Side Mission Start:
South of the Safehouse, between Crueltown & Sainted Cup
What it is about:
Reach a couple of waypoints to get a reward from the Life Coach.

Side Mission Steps:

-> Take mood rock: On the table.
-> Find path of opportunities: Northwest of the starting point. Then leads to Crueltown – defeat the rippers there.
-> Reach stone of balance: Just west of Crueltown.

-> Reach the highest point: You have to build a tower with boxes twice while climbing the building. The deposit location is highlighted right next to the boxes. After the second box tower, look for a bobblehead in the bathroom.

-> Check in with mood rock: Highlighted at the highest point.
-> Pick up mood rock
-> Reach Den of Acceptance: Short distance to the west.
-> Talk to Negative Self or Smack Negative Self: It’s Ricky.
-> Defeat them all.
-> Return to Brody, Loot your reward: At the top of the hill. This will complete the mission.

The Next Quest Thing

Side Mission Start:
At the location of the previous Side Mission: Sage Against the Machine end.
What it is about:
Be the life coach this time.

Side Mission Steps:

-> Teach Wayward Soul balance: Follow him to the back of the house.
-> Send Wayward Soul to the top of the tower
-> Pick up the trash can lid, balance it on his head.
-> Pick up trash can: By the house, put it on his head.
-> Pick up trash bag: Put it on his head.
-> Find Wayward Soul: He’s at Cuspid Climb, just north of Cloudbank.

-> Save and Talk to Wayward Soul
-> Defeat Kratch, talk to Wayward Soul
-> Check on Wayward Soul: In the south of Stoneblood Forest.

-> Talk to Wayward Soul, pick up the marked rock.
-> Throw rock at Wayward Soul.
-> Talk to Wayward Soul.
-> Take material burdens.
-> Defeat rippers & Wayward Soul.

Crack This Guy’s Back

Side Mission Start:
Sainted Cup, in the south – Crack MaBacky in the house.
What it is about:
Defeat someone for him.

Side Mission Steps:

-> Pop Back McCracky’s back: Melee attack Crack MaBacky.
-> Take your leave: Exit the house.
-> Light four candles: In the house. Shoot them.
-> Power lotion thrower: The deposit needs a power core. Exit the house. It’s on the ground floor behind the house.

-> Activate lotion thrower: Hit the button on the console next to it.
-> Pop McCracky’s back again: Melee him again.
-> Celebrate a job well done: Leave.
-> Pop McCracky’s back AGAIN: Melee him again.
-> Reach high ground: There is a vertical wind canal in front of his house to reach the location above his house.
-> REALLY pop McCracky’s back: From this location, you have to Smash his back (double-jump & crouch button).
