There are 2 Recipes and 2 Manuals to be found at the Great Wall Terraces in Beast of Reincarnation. Books in the game come in three types – Ancient Books, which can only be sold for Amber, Manuals for crafting Equipment, and Recipes for Kagura’s Cooking. This guide only covers the Manuals and Recipes, since Ancient Books are just sellable loot with no fixed use. The merchants that sell manuals and recipes are also highlighted on the overview map.

All Books at the Great Wall Terraces

1 – Normal Recipe: Tofu

This recipe is in one of the three houses right at the start by the first bulkhead door.

Description:
Instructions on how to create soya bean tofu that melts in the mouth.

2 – Normal Recipe: Apple Pie

The Apple Pie recipe is at the Mountain Village, in one of the houses at the bottom.

Description:
Nothing beats a flaky pie crust coupled with a rich apple filling.

3 – Merchants

The merchants at the Great Wall Terraces are selling manuals for Recovery Tonic (M), Antidote, Neutralizer, Grounding Sand, Extinguishing Sand, Golem Censer, Bottle of Acid, Bottle of Oil, Bolt Shard, Torch, Bomb, Acid Arrows, Lightning Arrows, Poison Bolts, Fire Bolts, and Explosive Bolts. They also have the recipes for Grilled Onigiri, Mince Onigiri, Egg Onigiri, Bread, and Biwafruit Sandwich.

There is a merchant at the Mountain Plaza: Forefront campsite.

The second merchant is at Nushi’s lair, the Old Sagami Colony: Approach Campsite.

4 – Manual: Oil Container

Enter the Maze of Sin by shooting the oil flask by the entrance. In the first room is a strongbox. To advance and reach this campsite, shoot the oil flask to the right to enter the next room. Here, shoot the oil flask at the top through the stone bars to advance.

Keep shooting oil flasks to destroy the cracked walls and reach the Maze of Sin: Interior campsite. Approach the oil flasks at the end and defeat the appearing Elite golem to receive the manual.

5 – Manual: Poison Arrows

This manual is on top of a table to the west of the Flower Field Tower campsite.

Description:
A manual that contains instructions on how to synthesize Poison Arrows.
