The Dark Veil quest in Crimson Desert is a short but important main mission that directly follows Secrets Hidden in the Dark. While there’s only one main objective, some players may still be unsure where to go or who to talk to to progress the story.

Chapter 2: The End of Greed Overview
This is the first quest of five in “The End of Greed” story block in Chapter 2.
1 – The Dark Veil
2 – The Flames of Greed
3 – Kidnapped Healer
4 – Rebellion or Revolution
5 – Cheers Echoing From the Edge
Completing these five quests will lead to the start of Chapter 3.
Starting the Quest
The quest starts automatically after the events of “Secrets Hidden in the Dark”. At the end of this quest, you will talk to guards who will mention the Goldleaf Merchant Guild.
Quest Description:
“The guards who arrived to handle the situation mentioned something about the Goldleaf Merchant Guild. Pay a visit to the market at the edge of town.”
Investigate the Goldleaf Merchant Guild
The Goldleaf Trading Post is not far from the Bloomwood Ranch, where you’ve been to complete quests. It’s in the southeast of Hernand town. Talk to Shakatu there.
This will complete the quest. Next: The Flames of Greed.
