Note 1 – Caddell Treasure Hint

To uncover the first note in the Caddell Treasure Hunt Mystery, start by following the trail of windchimes mentioned in the story, leading you to the APC. Once you’ve reached the APC, retrace your steps to locate the first note, as shown in the screenshot below.

Description:
A small note with the writing of a child. It seems to be a clue for some kind of treasure hunt. Found deep in Senedra Forest.
What it says:
“You dummies won’t ever find where I hid the key! You’re all too stupid! Arloh can’t even read, 4 eyes Gus is probably too blind to see the red boulder, and Atti’s too small to climb all the way up the hill!”
Conclusion:
The treasure is somewhere near a red boulder and uphill.

Picking up this note will initiate the Caddell Family Treasure Mystery on your datapad. To uncover the treasure, follow the clues provided in the note. It references a red boulder and a path leading uphill. Speak with the soldier stationed by the door, who will task you with retrieving a med kit from the uphill camp. Completing this task will guide you directly to the treasure’s location.

Note 2 & Blue Boulders

Take the lone trail heading west up the hill, marked by white “X”s painted on the trees. As you ascend the winding path, you’ll reach a crossroads with an “X” indicating the path directly ahead. To your right, atop a ledge, you’ll spot a pile of blue-painted stones. However, rather than continuing straight, turn left and follow the trail to uncover the second Caddell Treasure Hint on top of a yellow boulder tower.

What it says:
“Even if you blockheads find the key, I bet you’ll never find the treasure chest! The blue paint is harder to see than the red!“
Conclusion:
You’ve discovered the location of the blue boulders, but the path to reach them remains a mystery. Patience, my friend – your journey will unfold in time.

Key – Rusted

From the yellow boulder pile (number 2 on the map), head back to the point where the paths intersect on the map and take the trail heading uphill. When you reach the crossing marked by pallets, turn left to arrive at a picnic area with two tables – one still intact, the other collapsed. From this spot, continue on the left-hand path and keep climbing uphill. At the next junction, turn left again. Follow the trail all the way to the top, where you’ll discover the red boulders holding the key.

Caddell Treasure Location

Return to the crossing with the pallets. From here, always take the right path to reach the blue rock pile with the treasure. It requires the Key – Rusted to open the chest.

Inside is the third Note – Caddell Treasure
“Behold the magnificent treasure of the Caddell Family! It belonged to our great-great-great-great-grandpa! PS. Don’t break it, you nitwits.”
