The Musician once lived a nomadic life, travelling around North America and playing music with the friends he made. His songs were inspirational, giving people the courage to go on living after the Death Stranding, and are still listened to all over the continent. Since passing through the plate gate to Australia, he has lived alone in his prepper shelter. He itches to create music that celebrates the joys of living.

Humans are the only species that makes music – it is an essential part of who we are; even babies in the womb respond to it. Music exists in all human cultures, and is needed more than ever in the brutal world that the Death Stranding has left in its wake. It can overcome language barriers and build bridges between people. That is why the Musician continues to create and play music, and he has holed himself up in his shelter so that he can devote himself to this precious work.

The Musician’s shelter is filled with music that envelops and enriches the world around it. After Sam connects the shelter to the chiral network, this music can be shared with the world – a small step on the road to humanity’s revival.

Rewards: The Musician

Each Knot City and Shelter has a five-star reward system, granting rewards and upgrades with every star reached. Gain more reputation by delivering goods. APAS firmware upgrades, bandwidth increases, and Material Allotment increases are granted with every star reward. Shelters additionally offer Sam a place to rest at the 5-Star level.

Porter-to-Porter Advice

Struggling to find enough cargo to boost Sam’s reputation with The Musician? There’s a simple solution. Open the Ring Terminal menu and head to the “Orders” section. From there, navigate to the “Search” tab and select The Musician under “Delivery/Report Destination.” Confirm your search, and you’ll receive a list of available Order Locations for The Musician. It’s a quick and convenient way to make a Porter’s job a whole lot easier.

A powerful firearm, especially effective at close range. It fires a cluster of pellets that disperse over a wide area, and comes equipped with a light that can be used to dazzle nearby enemies.

The shotgun is compatible with a variety of different shells, making it a versatile weapon effective against various enemy types- just be sure to check which shells are loaded before pulling the trigger.

There are several different models of shotgun in circulation, all available in a range of colours.

The upgraded version has greater clip capacity and pellet density, making it even more formidable. It has also been fitted with a grenade launcher to improve its mid-to-long-range effectiveness.

It is equipped with a light that can be used to dazzle nearby enemies.
