About The Motherhood
Humans are born from their mothers’ wombs. Every single birth is a
cause for celebration.
Expressions such as ‘mother earth’ and ‘mother nature’ are indicative of the productive abundance of the world around us. We are surrounded and shrouded by motherly bonds.
But our world, once lush and overflowing with love, has been ravaged by the Death Stranding. Even this shelter is surrounded by Armed Survivalists, making the local area extremely dangerous. The people who live here are very wary of outsiders.
The code required to open the door and overcome their suspicion is the
date of your own birth. Reveal: 1003
The Motherhood is a self-defence group for mothers and children who have escaped violence, primarily at the hands of men. There were once many victims living here, but only a few of them still survive.
The violence that erupts in harsh situations such as wars or natural disasters tends to be directed toward the weak and the vulnerable. The women of the Motherhood are well-versed in the absurdities of such a world.
The Armed Survivalists are extremists who are willing to sacrifice others in order to ensure their own survival, and the Motherhood have been forced to take up arms in self-defence. Despite this, they long for the day when humanity can discard its weapons, and the world can be bonded by
motherly love.
Administrator: The Doctor
Door Passcode: 1003 (as in Corpus)

The Doctor provides medical care to the many women suffering in the post-Stranding world. She is sometimes referred to as a ‘psychic midwife’, on account of her ability to remove babies from stillmothers’ wombs with nothing but her hands. This is possible because she has
chiral hands—two right hands, rather than a pair of hands that mirror
each other.
While she once tried in vain to use her powers to save a stillbaby, she now transfers them into BB pods.
A DOOMS sufferer, the Doctor was once a member of Bridges, and accompanied its expedition to Mexico before crossing through the plate gate to Australia.
Rewards: The Motherhood
Each Knot City and Shelter has a five-star reward system, granting rewards and upgrades with every star reached. Gain more reputation by delivering goods. APAS firmware upgrades, bandwidth increases, and Material Allotment increases are granted with every star reward. Shelters additionally offer Sam a place to rest at the 5-Star level.
Porter-to-Porter Advice
Struggling to find enough cargo to boost Sam’s reputation with The Motherhood? There’s a simple solution. Open the Ring Terminal menu and head to the “Orders” section. From there, navigate to the “Search” tab and select The Motherhood under “Delivery/Report Destination.” Confirm your search, and you’ll receive a list of available Order Locations for The Motherhood. It’s a quick and convenient way to make a Porter’s job a whole lot easier.

High-Capacity Blood Bag – Tool

Bags of purified blood, synthesised to precisely replicate the properties of Sam’s own.
If you have a blood bag connected, it will automatically replenish your blood levels should they start to drop. If you have multiple blood bags in your inventory, each empty bag will automatically be replaced by a new one.
Blood bags can be stored in a utility pouch.
This high-capacity model contains a greater volume of blood.
4-Star Reward
Auto-Resuscitation Device

An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) device that can be attached to your backpack. The defibrillator kicks in automatically whenever Sam’s heart stops, immediately resuscitating him.
