About the Lone Commander
Administrator: The Lone Commander

In an attempt to defend itself from those who opposed its mission to rebuild Australia, the Government established a private army. At its head stood the Lone Commander.
A supremely talented sniper, the Lone Commander fought alongside Old Oz and others to rebuild the Australian nation after the Death Stranding. But along the way, he realised the very people he was fighting were his fellow Australians. How had they become so divided? Why had they allowed the Death Stranding to split their country apart?
Regretting his part in the fighting, the Lone Commander cast aside his weapons and has lived a hermit-like existence in his shelter ever since.
Rewards: The Lone Commander
Each Knot City and Shelter has a five-star reward system, granting rewards and upgrades with every star reached. Gain more reputation by delivering goods. APAS firmware upgrades, bandwidth increases, and Material Allotment increases are granted with every star reward. Shelters additionally offer Sam a place to rest at the 5-Star level.
1-Star Reward
Tranq Sniper Rifle

A rifle designed for precise, long-range, sharpshooting. Its reduced weight allows it to be transported as a compact piece of cargo, making it much easier to take on the go as you change sniping positions during a firefight.
It is loaded with tranquillising rounds that will non-lethally neutralise human targets.
The rifle is accurate up to 100m, after which point projectiles will be pulled down by gravity.
Hold your breath to steady your aim, and be aware that the rifle produces a loud noise when fired, which may give away your position. It is recommended that you move to a different position after firing.
2-Star Reward
Smoke Grenade

A hand grenade that releases a large cloud of smoke on impact. The smoke will linger, restricting enemies’ fields of vision and causing humans to cough.
The noise it makes on impact is muffled, making it suitable for infiltration and covert operations.
3-Star Reward
SL Tranq Handgun

A compact pistol fitted with a silencer. The noise it makes when firing is suppressed, making it suitable for covert operations. It can be carried in a holster.
This handgun is loaded with tranquillising rounds that will administer an anaesthetic to a target’s bloodstream, putting them to sleep regardless of where on their body they are hit. A headshot will put the target to sleep immediately, unless they are wearing a helmet. Tranquilliser rounds are ineffective against mechs and BTs.
While it was originally developed for use by porters who lack firearm experience, it has also become a popular tool to sedate wild animals for rescue.
4-Star Reward
LW Tranq Sniper Rifle

A lightweight (LW) variant of the tranq sniper rifle – a weapon designed for precise, long-range sharpshooting. Its reduced weight allows it to be transported as a compact piece of cargo, making it much easier to take on the go as you change sniping positions during a firefight.
The rifle is loaded with tranquilliser rounds that will non-lethally neutralise human targets. The speed at which a target is put to sleep will depend on where the tranquilliser hits their body.
It is accurate up to 100m, after which point projectiles will be pulled down by gravity. Hold your breath to steady your aim.
The rifle also produces a loud noise when fired, which may give away your position. It is recommended that you move to a different position after firing.

A silent-lightweight (SL-LW) variant of the tranq sniper rifle designed for precise, long-range sharpshooting. Its reduced weight allows it to be transported as a compact piece of cargo, making it much easier to take on the go as you change sniping position during a firefight. Additionally, its specially designed muzzle reduces the noise produced when firing, making it harder for enemies to identify your position.
