About The Data Scientist
Administrator: The Data Scientist

A prepper shrouded in mystery. Name, age, nationality, and appearance are all unknown. She seems skilled in data analysis and is well-versed in various scientific fields, from data-centric disciplines like artificial intelligence and computer science, all the way to mechanical engineering.
Certain sources note that the Data Scientist was once quite talkative and friendly. But after seeing how the mole mines she created were misused and caused harm, she came to distrust others. Now, she remains sheltered away inside her shelter, using her mole mines as originally intended: self-defence.
Other sources claim the Data Scientist has grown weary of the innate bias generators that are humans, and that she wishes only to frolic among data free from subjectivity, with some sources going so far as to say that she wishes to become data itself.
The one thing she still seems to believe in, however, is the delicious taste of piping hot pizza.
That said, none of the data above was able to be properly verified. Peko.
Rewards: The Data Scientist
Each Knot City and Shelter has a five-star reward system, granting rewards and upgrades with every star reached. Gain more reputation by delivering goods. APAS firmware upgrades, bandwidth increases, and Material Allotment increases are granted with every star reward. Shelters additionally offer Sam a place to rest at the 5-Star level.
1-Star Reward
1 – Porter Suit: AI Camo

A suit designed specifically for making deliveries. S-size cargo can be attached to the shoulders and the hips. It prevents the wearer from being detected by mole mines’ AI cameras, developed using technology provided by the Data Scientist.
2 – Sneaking Boots

Special boots designed for covert operations.
Their soles are constructed to suppress the noise of your footsteps, making it harder for enemies to detect you. They are also light and comfortable, while providing the same durability as ordinary boots.
Despite not being best suited for making simple deliveries, many porters swear by their lightweight design and unique foot feel.
3 – Silent-Lightweight Assault Rifle Lv1 [MP Bullets]

A silent-lightweight (SL-LW) variant of the assault rifle, constructed to be quieter and more portable than the standard model.
Its streamlined design makes it transportable as a compact piece of cargo. Additionally, its specially designed muzzle reduces its firing noise to near silence, making it ideal for covert operations.
It is equipped with a light, and can be switched between semi and fully
automatic fire.
The upgraded version is also fitted with a grenade launcher, making it
suitable to carry in fierce firefights and infiltration missions alike.
2-Star Reward
Nousagi Hat

A hat in the shape of a cute white bunny rabbit, known as a “nousagi”. It was given to Sam by the Data Scientist as a token of gratitude and is a testament to Sam’s ability to hop to any task with gusto. When worn, the hat slightly slows the rate at which stamina is depleted – and also serves as a reminder of the Data Scientist’s own ‘ear-reproachable’ work ethic. Peko!

4-Star Reward
3 – Silent-Lightweight Assault Rifle Lv2 [MP Bullets]

A silent-lightweight (SL-LW) variant of the assault rifle, constructed to be quieter and more portable than the standard model.
Its streamlined design makes it transportable as a compact piece of cargo. Additionally, its specially designed muzzle reduces its firing noise to near silence, making it ideal for covert operations.
It is equipped with a light, and can be switched between semi and fully
automatic fire.
The upgraded version is also fitted with a grenade launcher, making it
suitable to carry in fierce firefights and infiltration missions alike.
5-Star Rewards
1 – Custom Hologram: The Data Scientist

A Hologram of The Data Scientist can now be selected under any Structure Customisation.
2 – Patch 27: Love it!

A 1×1 backpack patch that allows the wearer to express their individuality. Serves as proof that you have reached the maximum connection level with the Data Scientist.
Sub-Order Reward
Dog Mine

A thrown weapon that transforms into a mechanical dog to chase down targets, electrocute humans, and explode against mechs. Dog mines cannot detect BTs.
The dog mine is carried as a piece of cargo and retrofitted from a ghost mech weapon, which the Data Scientist has customised not to kill humans.
