With Quartz on hold, Styx sets off after the ancient runes Wren once hinted at. Scattered across the continent, they’ve drawn little attention – until now.

Retrieve the Cabysses Rune

The Cabysses Rune is near the Fishermen’s smugglers Balloon at the Wall. Remember, at the start of the Quartz hunt, there was one Quartz hidden behind a bookshelf at the Wall? The Fishermen’s Smugglers is right there. From the balloon dock, the rune is in the house behind the one that had the Quartz shard in it. It is guarded by an orc and I just stole it from under his nose by simply being invisible.

Cabysses Rune effect:
Killing an enemy with a stab refills some amber.

Retrieve the Chameleon Rune

For the Chameleon Rune, travel back to the Sequoia Trunk balloon at Turquoise Dawn. Grapple up from the balloon terminal and use the crawlspace to the building where the first Quartz was hanging in the cage. The rune is in this room. Just below the chandelier in the trunk.

Rune effect:
“When exiting a dark area, Styx stays dark for a few seconds.”
