Styx: Blades of Greed – Sails of the Inquisition

Description

Styx’s hunger for Quartz hasn’t gone unnoticed – and the trail of consequences he leaves behind might just be turning a few heads his way.

There are four things that need to be done to complete this mission:
-> Destroy 2 Inquisition’s Interceptors
-> Sabotage the Inquisition Zeppelin’s balistas
-> Find the Inquisition’s leader

You can now use the Glider as a new tool.

Destroy the Inquisition’s Interceptors

The Inquisition’s Interceptors are to the left and to the right of the big Zeppelin at the center.

Using the glider needed practice. Adding to the difficulty is that those upward wind currents aren’t very well visible so the distance until reaching one is not very clear. The whole glider experience in this mission can be quite frustrating – but then it is probably meant to be the tutorial mission.

To destroy the Inquisition’s Interceptors, board them and use the lever in the cockpit. Do this on both small Zeppelins. Don’t forget to get rid of the guy at the ballista.

Sabotage the Zeppelin’s Ballistas

Board the main, center Zeppelin and interact with the ballistas to sabotage them. There is a hidden crouch entrance at the bottom front of the Zeppelin. Alternatively, there are ropes hanging down from the Zeppelin’s bottom part.
The first lever to sabotage the Zeppelin is at the bottom front.

The second level, counted from the bottom of the Zeppelin, has a mess hall with a fireplace. Extinguish it and climb to the top as an approach alternative. I chose the stairs and picked them off one by one.

Stating the obvious: The ballistas are on the outside deck, the third deck – counted from the bottom. There are three of them.

There is another lever to sabotage in the top cockpit. Use the chandelier to get rid of the guards.

Find the Inquisition’s Leader

The Inquisiton’s Leader is in the top room of the cockpit. There is a passage blocked by a small drawbridge. Pull the lever to lower it. Glide back to Irving’s Zeppelin when you’re done.
