Further into the Unknown – Starfield Constellation Mission Walkthrough

Mission text:
“I need to meet with Vladimir Sall about finding more Artifacts in the fringes of space.”

Travel back to The Lodge at New Atlantis in the Alpha Centauri System and talk to Vladimir, your constellation member. Normally he’s at the Eye space station in the orbit of Jemison. He will give you two destinations on two different planets as a new objective: Altair IV-B and Eridani III. Let’s go to Altair first. I like the name…

Mission text:
“Vladimir has given me loations he believes could hold Artifacts.”

Open your missions menu. There are two quest objectives. I choose Altair IV-B as the first planet for the mission. It’s north of Alpha Centauri on the star map. There is one landing point called “Hillside Cave” to find the first artifact.

Open up your hand scanner and follow it to the Hillside Cave. Notice that there are two entrances one at the bottom, where the cave symbol is, and one at the top, where the quest marker goes. Take the top cave entrance, where the mission marker is.

Inside the cave is an abandoned camp with an active turret. Work your way down in the cave.

There will be more turrets further down in the cave. Follow the quest marker so you know you’re going into the right direction. Go to the very bottom to extract the artifact from a rock surrounded by mineral deposits. Be careful a Starborn will attack once you’re close enough. Take the artifact and leave the cave once you’re ready.

Next step: The Eridani System. It’s in the south west of Alpha Centauri on the star map. Land at the Abandoned Outpost on Eridani III, the second planet for the mission, to find the second artifact.

Follow the objective marker to the outpost. Crimson Fleet have taken over. Enter the building you can access a turret control computer right inside near the entrance if you like. The Artifact is in the Helium Extraction site below the Outpost. You can either go through a red door inside the outpost (with a Master Lock) – this is a secure access door – or you can access it through an extraction station above the outpost.

Best way is to enter the nearby cave at the top. You will be just above the artifact if you do so. Follow the location markers but be careful. There is another Starborn waiting and attacking you. The artifact is surrounded by Caelumite deposit. Use your laser cutter to get the artifact.

“I’ve found the Artifacts. Time to add them to the collection.”

Fast travel back to the Lodge and add the two Artifacts to the artifact collection in the middle of the room and talk to the members of constellation. The Mission will end and “SHORT SIGHTED” – the next main story of starfield will start.
