“Further into the Unknown” is the follow-up Constellation Mission of “STARBORN“. After the meeting at the Lodge, talk to Vladimir to start the Mission.
1. TALK TO VLADIMIR
Mission text:
“I need to meet with Vladimir Sall about finding more Artifacts in the fringes of space.”
Travel back to The Lodge at Alpha Centauri and talk to Noel. He will give you two destinations: Altair IV-B and Eridani III. Let’s go to Altair first. I like the name…
2. GO TO ALTAIR IV-B
Mission text:
“Vladimir has given me loations he believes could hold Artifacts.”
Travel to Altair IV-B. It’s north of Alpha Centauri. There is one landing point called “Hillside Cave”.
3. FIND THE ARTIFACT ON ALTAIR IV-B
Mission text:
“Vladimir has given me loations he believes could hold Artifacts.”
Walk to the Hillside Cave. Notice that there are two entrances one at the bottom, where the cave symbol is and one at the top, where the mission marker goes. Take the top entrance, where the mission marker is.
Inside the cave is an abandoned camp with an active turret. Work your way down in the cave.
There will be more turrets further down in the cave. Go to the very bottom to extract the artifact from a rock. Be careful a Starborn will attack once you’re close enough. Take the artifact and leave the cave once you’re ready.
4. FIND THE ARTIFACT ON ERIDANI III
Mission text:
“Vladimir has given me loations he believes could hold Artifacts.”
The Eridani System is in the south west of Alpha Centauri. Land at the Abandoned Outpost on Eridani III.
Spacer have taken over the outpost. Enter the building you can access a turret control computer right inside near the entrance if you like. The Artifact is in the Helium Extraction site below the Outpost. You can either go through a door inside the outpost (with a Master Lock) or you can access it through an extraction station above the outpost. There is a cave entrance.
Enter the top cave you will be just above the artifact if you do so. Be careful. There is another Starborn waiting and attacking you. Take the Artifact.
5. ADD THE ARTIFACTS TO THE COLLECTION
Mission text:
“I’ve found the Artifacts. Time to add them to the collection.”
Travel back to the Lodge and add the Artifacts to the collection and talk to the crew. The Mission will end and “SHORT SIGHTED” will start.
