Entangled – Starfield Constellation Mission Walkthrough

Mission text:
“I picked up a distress signal from the facility where the Artifact should be. I need to investigate.”

Land on Nishina Research Station on Freya III and head to the entrance of the Nishina building. The intercom will trigger as soon as you’re at the door. After the conversation, enter the building.

Mission text:
“I need to speak to the Director of Nishina Research Station about the Artifact and the distress signal.”

After the scan at the entrance, talk to Ethan and follow him.

Mission text:
“I need to find out where I am and what just happened.”

While walking with Ethan, the light goes off in mid-speech and as it goes on again, you are in a weird cave ruin. Follow the marker some insects will attack you. During the fight…

Mission text:
“I need to speak to the Director of Nishina Research Station about the Artifact and the distress signal.”

… you’re all of a sudden back with Ethan, who asks you what happened. Follow Ethan – again.

Mission text:
“I need to find out where I am and what’s happening.“

You’re back in the other “parallel” world. Go to the mission marker to explore the ruins. There is a person called “Raffael” who sent out the distress signal.

Mission text:
“I need to speak to the Director of Nishina Research Station about the Artifact and the distress signal.”

In mid-conversation you’re transported back to Ethan. He will tell you where the Director’s office is “in case anything happens.” – Cursed it!

Mission text:
“I need to find the Director’s office in the other universe.”

Follow the mission marker down the corridor and upstairs through the door on the right. At the top of the stairs you’re going back to the other world again.

Mission text:
“I need to speak to the Director of Nishina Research Station about the Artifact and the distress signal.”

Continue to follow Ethan.

Mission text:
“I need to speak to the Director of Nishina Research Station about what’s happening here.”

Talk to the Director.

Mission text:
“I need to follow Maria to her lab.”

Follow Maria until you shift to the other universe again.

Mission text:
“I need to find a way through the facility to Maria’s lab.”

Back in the dark universe, Maria’s way to the lab is blocked. Insead, go through the Emergency door. You can drop down from there and talk to Rafael.

Continue to make your way to the lab through the “pantry”. It’s the door nearby that needs a pantry keycard.

You’ll shift again in the cafeteria and freak everyone out. Follow the marker anyway, you will shift back again.

Mission text:
“I need to find a way through the facility to Maria’s lab.”

After you’ve walked through the cafeteria and shifted back to Rafael, talk to him.

Mission text:
“I need to find a way through the facility to Maria’s lab.”

Exit the room with Rafael through the only way possible and you’re in a room with Ethan. Talk to him.

Then exit his office and go through the main hall – following the mission marker. You will shift again, but just follow the marker straight ahead. Follow the emergency exits to get upstairs.

You will phase to the “clean” universe again. Maria is waiting for you in the lab. Talk to her.

Mission text:
“I need to work with Maria to find a way to control the shifting.”

During her experiments, one of those light clouds, that we know from the temples, will appear in the room. She wants me to step inside and I will. Stand in the Distortion.

Mission text:
“I need to find a Probe Control Unit and use it to shift back to the other universe.”

I’ve just shifted back to the other universe. The Probe Control Unit is nearby in the lab. Find the light distortion in the room and interact with it. Back in the lab, talk to Maria.

Mission text:
“I need to tell the Director we found a way to control the shifting.”

Go down the hall and speak to the Director.

Mission text:
“I need to take the elevator down to the Research Level.”

Elevator access is at the main hall. Interact with the distortion to get back to the dark universe.

Mission text:
“I need to make my way to the High Energy Research Lab.”

There are various ways now to do this. There are distortions all the way to the lab. At the bottom of the elevator. I switched back to the clean universe and followed the marker. To a door that is master locked.

If you can, you can pick it. But instead, use the nearby distortion and shift back to the dark universe, where the door is open.

Now you can get the NISHINA PARTICLE LAB KEYCARD.

Mission text:
“I need to make my way to the High Energy Research Lab.”

Use one of the nearby distortions near the keycard to get back to the clean universe. From here, you can get to the mission marker. There are a couple of robots and turrets that try to stop you on your way down.

Down there are a couple of red security doors that you can’t open. Use the distortion on one of the rooms to switch again to the dark universe. Now the doors are open and you can continue your way inside.

In the dark universe, the computer you have to use is smashed. So interact with the distortion in the back of this room to get back to the clean universe to use the computer to override the lockdown.

Go can now follow the mission marker in the clean universe to the next section of the lab. Accelerator Control is again behind a locked security door.

Go downstairs into the big room with the accelerators in it. Cross it, go upstairs and find a distortion! Use it to go to the dark universe.

All the doors are open here.

Use this advantage to reach the mission marker down below.

Pick up the Nishina Utility Closet Keycard at the mission marker location.

Interact with the distortion in the room to use the staircase back upstairs and then the distortion at the top of the stairs to get back to the dark universe and out of the room.

Get outside in the big room and downstairs. Look for a distortion at the top of the stairs, near the mission marker on ground floor.

You can now use the Utility Closet Keycard to get inside the Utility Closet on ground floor. In this small closet is another distortion. Use it.

You can now enter the next door room through the Utility Closet. The wall separating them is gone in the dark universe. Inside this room is another distortion. Use it to be able to use the computer in the clean universe. Override the Accelerator Control Room Lockdown.

You can’t open the doors with the computer in the clean universe. Use the distortion again to be able to leave the same way as you came. There is another distortion in the Utility Closet! In the clean universe, go to Accelerator Control upstairs and use the computer to Override Lockdown: Accelerator Section.

Mission text:
“I need to make my way to the High Energy Research Lab.”

All the doors are open now. You can go to the door at ground level that is called “Access Tunnel”.

In the next room, the door for the Access Tunnels is blocked. Use the nearby distortion to switch to the dark universe to get passed the blocked door through a gaping hole next to where the Access Tunnel door would be.

Follow this infested cave down to the very bottom. There is a distortion you can use.

Good thing there is also a cave in the clean universe. Go to the other side and look for another distortion at the other end.

You can jump up here to get to a higher level. There is another distortion up here use it to get to the clean universe, where you’ll be standing in a normal lab room.

Exit this room and enter the only other available room in this corridor. There is another distortion you can use. Do it to be back in the dark universe.

Another cave passage opened up now where the clean universe distortion was. Go through there to fight through some more scorpions, up to a higher level.

Up here you can drop down into another corridor that, according to the signs, leads to Storage and the Access Tunnel.

Down there is another distortion you can use to get back to the clean universe. This time it even has a mission marker.

Interact with the Storage Room Computer in the same room. Override Lockdown: Storage Section from there.

All the security access doors open and you can go ahead follow the mission marker. The door to the stairs is blocked again with a security door. There is a distortion at the bottom of the stairs that you can use to swap to the dark universe.

The Stairs door is open in the dark universe. Use the stairs to go up one level.

Mission text:
“I need to disengage the Power Interlocks so I can shut down the experiment”

You can do this in both universes. I guess you can now choose the dark universe or the clean universe. There are distortions in the big lab room if you want to switch. Look for the room upstairs with the LAB Control Computer. You can enter it while being in the dark universe.

If you have the Master Skill at lock picking, you can deal with the lab security from a terminal here. Just use the distortion in this room to get to the clean universe before you can interact with the computer.

Interact with all 7 power locks to shut down the experiment. You have to do this in the dark universe, since lockdown is still in effect. Inside the big room, you can constantly switch back and forth between dark and clean universe. There are some distortions around.

After you’ve turned off 7 power interlocks, shut down the probe. There is a switch just where the beam hits the wall. Now you can select your reality.

Now you can take the artifact from the wall. The lockdown will be lifted.

“I should report back to the Director”

You can now go through the door marked “Exit” to reach the Director. Take the elevator back up. After you’ve talked to the Director, the Mission will conclude and you can continue with “FINAL GLIMPSES“.
