About South Fort Knot (F6)
Prior to the Death Stranding, the majority of Australia’s population was clustered on the country’s southeastern coast, where South Fort Knot (F6) now stands.
Dense cities, packed with people – when the voidouts started, the destruction was unimaginable. Neighbourhoods were blown into craters. Others sank into the ocean. The landscape was forever changed. What few survivors there were fled to South Fort Knot and Cardinal Fort Knot (F7), working together for their mutual survival.
When the APAC advance expedition arrived in Australia, the two cities were naturally designated as chiral network connection points and given much-needed equipment and infrastructure.
But the provision of this aid enraged the Armed Survivalists, and South Fort Knot and Cardinal Fort Knot became regular targets for attack. The two cities banded together to repel the threat, until Cardinal Fort Knot was tragically lost to the tar currents.
Now South Fort Knot stands alone, the chiral network its only hope of survival.
Administrator: Pierre Southern

An APAC engineer who has been working with the Phantom Smith under the guidance of a scientist based in South Fort Knot (F6). Pierre originally set out to systematically analyse phenomena that cross between this world and the world of the dead. Recently, however, he has shifted his focus to explore the operation of ghost mechs.
Unlike conventional machines, ghost mechs don’t have any kind of drive unit and are able to operate outside of the chiral network despite lacking any means of autonomous function. In this sense, they appear to be little more than puppets. But who’s pulling their strings, and why aren’t they reliant on the chiral network?
The Phantom Smith has vowed to redouble his efforts to understand the mystery behind what he’s dubbed “ghost tech.”
Rewards: South Fort Knot (F6)

1-Star Reward
1 – Chiral Cannon

A powerful weapon based on the architecture of ghost technology. By precisely altering the vectors of a chiral field, the cannon accelerates chiral particles to lethal velocities. Since chiral particles are not affected by forces such as geomagnetism, a chiral beam will travel in a straight line indefinitely.
The chiral cannon proves that it is possible for Drawbridge to match the firepower of the ghost mechs. Such technological breakthroughs are likely to play a significant role in the future success of the mission.
The cannon is effective against mechs, BTs, and human targets. However, it cannot be aimed directly at humans due to the risk of inflicting lethal damage. The cannon will automatically target close and mid-range mechanical enemies and BTs during combat. Try to ensure the blasts don’t hit any humans.
2 – Spiked Tyres for Slopes

Special tires for the pickup off-roader that enable the vehicle to manoeuvre more easily on rough terrain as well as on sandy and snowy surfaces. They are particularly effective on the steep slopes of the snowy mountains. Be aware that these tyres will reduce a vehicle’s top speed when it is driven on paved roads.
3 – Asylums For The Feeling by Silent Poets – Music

2-Star Reward
Active Defence System

A defensive component that can be fitted to a pickup off-roader. It automatically detects and neutralises incoming projectiles and rocket attacks. Each active defence unit can neutralise one incoming attack at a time.
The active defence unit was developed using ghost technology, and its precise workings remain a mystery.
3-Star Reward
Electrical Defence Unit

A component that can be fitted to vehicles. Whenever the vehicle is struck by an electrical attack; this device automatically produces a countercurrent which neutralises it. Each electrical defence unit can neutralise one incoming attack at a time.
The electrical defence unit takes some time to recharge after each use. If you anticipate a particularly intense battle, it may be wise to deploy more than one.
4-Star Reward
Grass Green – Colour

5-Star Rewards
1 – Custom Hologram: Pierre Southern

A Hologram of Pierre Southern can now be selected under any Structure Customisation.
2 – Patch 56: DHV Magellan

A 1×1 backpack patch that allows the wearer to express their individuality. Serves as proof that you have reached the maximum connection level with the residents of South Fort Knot (F6).
