How to Access the Crypt in The Hidden City

To find the Crypt east of the Temple of Kukulkan in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, head to the island located in the water east of the Temple of Kukulkan Base Camp. From there, climb further to the east to reach the crypt entrance.

Navigating the First Room

Upon entering, you’ll encounter a jumpable climb spot. Use it to rappel down into the area below.

Follow the path until you come across a barricade. Use your rope to pull it down and proceed further.

Advancing Through Narrow Paths

Continue along the narrow path until you spot your target above. Climb up the steps and use the available climbing point to reach the higher level. Stay attentive as you progress.

Solving the Crypt Mechanism

At the top, you’ll need to rappel and swing over to a set of bars. Use the lever there to activate the mechanism. This action will cause the area below to fill with water, opening access to a new room.

Reaching the Sarcophagus

With the water-filled area accessible, move into the room that has opened. Here, you’ll find the sarcophagus containing your reward, the Vestige: Ch’amaka’s War Vest.

Exiting the Crypt Safely

To exit, you must swim back along the same route you came in. Be mindful of your oxygen levels, but don’t worry too much, as there are air pockets along the way to help you resurface when needed.
