Starting the Crypt in The Hidden City

To begin your exploration of the Abandoned Village Crypt, head to the location near the base camp. Look for the ladder and climb it to proceed.

Once at the top, you’ll find yourself on the edge of the water. Use your bow to shoot an arrow at the tether point across the water, creating a rope line to cross safely. After reaching the other side, climb the nearby wall to ascend further.

This path will lead you directly to the entrance of the crypt.

Entering the Crypt and Navigating Hazards

Step inside and follow the pathway. Be cautious, as there are traps along the route. You’ll come to a chamber with a large water-filled hole.

Spot a staircase to your left and follow it down. Continue along the path while carefully avoiding another trap that awaits.

At the bottom of the water chamber, take a leap and start your underwater exploration. Swim down and look for a small gap to pass through.

Use air pockets to replenish your breath as you advance through the submerged corridor.

Reaching the Sarcophagus

Once you emerge from the underwater path, you’ll find a staircase leading upward to your right. At the left side, there’s a blockage. Clear it to make your way through. Another air pocket here will allow you to recover. Continue forward and you’ll eventually surface in a spacious area with steps leading up.

Climb these steps to reach the sarcophagus, which contains your reward for completing this crypt section. The reward is a Vestige item, Manko’s Boots.

Exiting the Crypt

To leave the crypt, take the steps near the sarcophagus. Use your bow to rope-pull the blockage at the pathway’s end. This will lead you back to the elevated area above the water pool. From here, retrace your steps to exit the crypt and return to the main area of The Hidden City.
