1 – Veiled Edge Banner
Veiled Edge Banner collectibles serve as save and fast-travel points in Rise of the Ronin. They are sometimes, but not always located in significant and busy areas. As soon as you resolve a “Public Order” Collectible, the Veiled Edge Banners are revealed on the map.
1.1 – At the Border to Yamashita
Firstly, there is a Veiled Edge Banner in the southeastern corner of the Honcho District, just at the border to Yamashita.
1.2 – Photographic Studio
Secondly, in the main mission “Follow your Blade Twin”, you get to go to the photographic studio in the Honcho Region. This Veilded Edge Banner is in front of the photographic studio.
1.3 – Tower by the Water
The third Veiled Edge Banner is on top of the tower by the water. To climb it you have to use your grapple hook a couple of times. Look for the next hooks, even in the air!
1.4 – Public Order Location
On the west of the map, inside the “Public Order” collectible location grounds called “Sea Side Co.” is a tower. The Veiled Edge Banner is on top of the tower. You can climb up to the roof next to the tower and then jump across. Use the grapple points to get to the top.
2 – Public Order
“Public Order” collectible events are locations in a region that enemies occupy. Free the area by killing all the enemies in the area. This will strengthen the bond with the villagers.
In the west of the Honcho Region is an occupied facility called “Sea Side Co.” Kill all bandits to restore order.
4 – Landmarks
A Landmark collectible in “+Rise of the Ronin+” is just an important place in the region. All you have to do is walk to it and visit. There are two Landmarks in the Yamashita Region. For those looking to explore all collectibles in the game, each region may offer unique surprises.
4.1 – Yokohama Grand Villa
The Yokohama Grand Villa Landmark is a big, church-like building in the south of the Honcho District. It is also home to the “Official”, who is responsible for the fugitive bounties. Enter the building to get the Landmark collectible.
4.2 – Zonohana Pier
Take a closer look at the ships and head to the pier in the northwest of the region, known as Zonohana Pier.
4.3 – English House Nr. 1
The English House Nr. 1 is an impressive building with a beautiful garden the center of the Honcho Region.
4.4 – Yokohama Town Hall Clock Tower
The Yokohama Town Hall Clock Tower Landmark is in the south of the Honcho map, just at the border to the Miyozaki Region. Just get close enough to the tower to collect it.
6 – Cat
The cat collectible is a real cat, not some kind of statue that you have to find. As you travel around the region, listen closely. You may hear a meowing from a cat. This means you are very close. Reach the Cat and pet it.
6.1 – Yokohama Grand Villa Tower
This cat managed to get on top of the tower of the Yokohama Grand Villa Landmark from the Honcho Region. To get on top of the tower, go to the back garden of the Yokohama Grand Villa. There is a wooden scaffolding you can climb up to with the grappling hook. From the top of the scaffolding, you can use the grapple hook again to get on top of the roof, so you can reach the base of the tower.
To reach the top of the tower, you have to do a series of grapples with the grappling hook around the tower to the top. The cat is waiting there.
6.2 – Zonohana Pier
This cat is sitting at the end of Zonohana Pier in the northwest of the Honcho Region map.
6.3 – West of English House Nr 1 Landmark
West of the English House Nr. 1 Landmark is an estate with a big, pompous building and a small side building. The cat is inside the smaller building. It’s a Calico Cat, that will run away if you don’t slowly crouch to it. Walk as slowly as possible in the crouch position until you reach it.
7 – Treasure Chest
Treasure Chests are big unmissable chests that have to be found in the region.
7.1 – Public Order Location 1
Restory public order in this “unruly” location and kill all bandits. One of them has the rusty key to this storehouse. Inside is the Treasure Chest.
7.2 – Public Order Location 2
There is a second treasure chest in the Public Order – Sea Side Co location. It’s just above the storehouse, inside the building. To get inside, use the roof of the structure next to it to climb inside, as shown in the screenshot below.
7.3 Behind the Photographic Studio
Just behind the Photographic Studion is a house with a door that is locked from the inside. There are two grappling spots nearby: One just opposite of the locked door and another one just a bit to the east. Grapple up at the grappling spot to the east and you will find a way to get into the house – as displayed in the screenshot below.
7.4 Yokohama Town Hall Clock Tower
The Treasure Chest is located atop the Yokohama Town Hall Clock Tower in the southern part of the Honcho Region. To reach it, climb onto the roof using the climb and grapple points available. Look for rings with white flags and a glider symbol on the roof. Grapple one of these to be launched into the air and glide toward one of the tower’s grapple points. Grapple your way up until you can open the chest.
7.5 The Ship
Travel to the Veiled Edge Banner location on top of the tower overlooking the sea. You’ll find a ship nearby. Jump towards the ship and glide over to it to discover a Treasure Chest on board.
8 – Photography
PATH TO THE OCEAN
“Take a photograph of the foreign ships from the road that runs along the coast.”
Just stand at the location shown on the map and look toward the see to take the photograph. The center circle has to be red for success.
