“Where is Dan?” is one of the questions you will ask yourself over and over in Potion Permit, since he is one of the most mysterious NPC’s in the game. Here’s a full guide on where he lives and what he does during the day so you can befriend him faster and turn in your Quests.
Dan is a hyperactive, childish man who believes he is a pirate and wishes to sail the high seas looking for treasure.
He has split personality disorder, and thinks that his other personality, Dev, is a dullard.
The Chemist discovered Dan wandering the beach alone, searching for hidden treasure.
Dan asked whether the Chemist wanted to take the treasure for themselves or join his pirate crew, and stormed away when he realised the Chemist wasn’t interested in any of it.

Moonbury Cliff is at the far north of town, just above the church. See the location highlighted in the screenshot below.

PARK FISHING SPOT
The Park Fishing Spot is the fishing spot that is marked with a “1”, at Moonbury Park. It’s in the south west of the Potion Permit map.

BRIDGE BY POTION HOUSE
At Potion House, near the Fast Travel Point, is this bridge.

This bench is in the east of Town Square.

The Lazy Bowl Tavern is in the centre of town next to the Town Hall.

The River Fishing spot is the one above Potion House. Marked with a number two.
