Path of Conviction Collectibles – Overview Map

The Path of Conviction is close to the Arid Flats, but the easiest way to reach it is from the Desert Ridge Meditation Point in the Western Desert. After leaving Desert Ridge, look for the entrance to Arid Flats. From there, the Path of Conviction will be on your left.

This area is a Jedi puzzle zone, featuring a complex series of grapple balloons and opponents standing in your way. Get ready for plenty of climbing, navigating rails, and solving ball puzzles. If you’ve unlocked all map upgrades, you’ll find it easier to locate collectibles as they appear marked on your map.

1 – Chest

From the start of the area, locate the first grapple balloon. Use it to reach the first ledge. While doing this, you’ll pass a databank from Master Cordova’s travels on your way. This databank actually counts as an Arid Flats collectible, so it won’t be included in this guide.

From the initial balloon, grapple to the next and climb higher until you reach a path guarded by hostile stormtroopers. Fight them, and then drop down into a dark pit below. Here, you’ll find the chest containing Wood materials.

2 – Treasure

Head back to where you found the grapple balloons. Look for a grapple point on the wall and climb until you reach the top.

You’ll encounter another group of stormtroopers here. After defeating them, check your map for a long pathway to the left of the large rail structure. Follow this path to its end, where you’ll discover a brown vase. Break it to collect your Treasure.

3 – Databank Entry #361

Return to the impressive vertical rail structure at the top of the area where the final Jedi ball puzzle is located. Climb the stairs leading to the rail area, and you’ll find Databank Entry #361, titled “Digging Deeper,” waiting for you.

4 – Essence

This is your reward for completing the Path of Conviction puzzle. The essence grants you an additional perk slot.

How to Solve the Path of Conviction Puzzle in Jedi Survivor

The main A-ball needs to climb both vertical and horizontal rails. This first ball sits near a vertical rail to the left of where you start.

Across the abyss, you’ll see a B-ball, which controls the movement of the main rail. This ball is on a timed mechanism, so once you activate it, you’ll need to move quickly.

Above the B-ball position, there’s a third C-ball sitting on a horizontal rail. This ball cannot initially be moved, as it requires the A-ball to be positioned on the other side to activate the platform.

First, grab and move the B-ball to lower one side of the main rail. Quickly grapple across the abyss and push the A-ball along the horizontal rail until it reaches the other side.

The A-ball’s movement will cause a platform to extend near the C-ball. While the platform isn’t essential, it can help position the second ball more easily.

Use the grapple balloons to get back to the other side quickly and realign the timing of the A and C balls. Pull the C-ball into position and immediately return to the A-ball to push it vertically up the rail.

If you timed everything just right, the A-ball should roll all the way up the vertical rail to the top of the impressive structure. Push it into the slot at the back of the small rail to activate the final mechanism. Once the puzzle is solved, a hidden area will open, revealing the Essence collectible.
