At the Pumpkin Patch, Palette Prime, there is a Side Quest called “Creepy Hollow”, where you have to fix the scarecrows by finding 3 Pumpkin heads. Where are the Pumpkins for the scarecrows? Here’s my guide, step-by-step!
First, how do you get to the Pumpkin Patch at all? There is a Darkmess barrier at the water north from Paletteville. Walk around the big animal snake head nearby to find the square key for the barrier device.
Now pass the barrier and follow the path up to the right, east of Paletteville. Here, down a ladder is another barrier that requires a triangle key.
Follow the long path north and you will see the triangle key next to a roaming Wildclaw. The device for the triangle is on the path parallel to the one you came to get the key!
Now you can use the key and go through the barrier towards the south – the Pumpkin Patch. A farmer here by the house – needs your help to find 3 pumpkin heads for his 3 scarecrows. Here’s where they are:
– PUMPKIN 1 –
Just north of the pumpkin patch is – if you look closely – a yellow wave sign on the rock wall. Use your Scanner Ability and you will discover an arrow pointing to the right. Don’t be scared to walk through those bushes! Build a bridge on the other side, again with your scanner, cross it and pick up the Pumpkin head. Now go and put it on one of the three headless scarecrows.
– PUMPKIN 2 –
The second pumpkin head is hidden inside a tree just south of the Pumpkin Patch Fast Travel Flag. Shake the tree and it will fall on the floor. Don’t forget to take it to a scarecrow!
– PUMPKIN 3 –
The third and last pumpkin is right behind the house. Not even hidden! – But funny enough, the hardest to find for me…
Again, take it to the scarecrow and you get a Planet Coin as reward.
