There are 7 Sparks to find at Pristine Peaks. Here’s how you get them.
CRYOBOLIDE
Cryobolide will join your team after the first fight called “Freeze in your Tracks” in the Story Quest Cold Mouth of the Mountain. It’s the first Darkmess you have to remove at Pristine Peaks.
Activate Cryobolide during the fight: All weapon-based attacks are charged with Frostbite Super Effect and deal 120% damage. As Frostbite Protector: All Super Effect damage is reduced by 20%. Heroes are not affected by Frostbite Super Effect.
ELECTROID
Electroid will join your team after the last Darkmess Puddle fight called “Icy Breath of Winter” in the Story Quest Cold Mouth of the Mountain, Pristine Peaks.
Activate Electroid during the fight: All weapon-based attacks are charged with Shop Super Effect and deal 120% damage. As Shock Protector: All Super Effect damage is reduced by 20%. Heroes are not affected by Shock Super Effect.
ETHERING
Ethering will join your team after the second Darkmess Puddle fight called “Wolf at the Door” in the Story Quest Cold Mouth of the Mountain, Pristine Peaks.
Activate Ethering during the fight: The Hero turns invisible for 1 turn and can’t be directly targeted, however they are still vulnerable to damage and Super Effects. As Athlete: Increases all move ability damage by 15%.
PYROGEDDON
Pyrogeddon will join your team after you’ve defeated the Darkmess in THE WINTER PALACE entrance hall.
Once active, Meteors with the Burn Super Effect rain upon enemies: each deals 354 damage. As Burn Protector: All Super Effect damage is reduced by 35%. Heroes are not affected by Burn Super Effect.
REGENESIS
Regenesis is near the spaceship by the lake and asks you to find 3 Penguins in the HIDE ‘N SQUEAK Side Quest. It will join you after.
Once activated, a Hero regenerates 20% of their max HP at the start of the next 2 turns. As Healing Booster: Increases the Hero’s Max HP by15%.
VAMPDASH
To get Vampdash to join your team, you have to CLEAR THE PRISTINE PEAKS SECRET ZONE!
Once activated, all Dashes will deal 140 damage, and heal the hero by 30% of damage dealt. As Athlete: Increases all move ability damage by 15%.
ZEPHYSTAR
Go to Dr. Vent south of the Winter Palace. On the map, you will see a spark icon as quest named Dr. Vent’s Frozen Oddity. Zephystar is the quest reward, next to the Dr. Vent memory.
Enter the lab. Inside, there is a stone block to move away with your wave ability. Follow the red shining pipes until you get to the Darkmess. The goal of the fight is, to push all the green buttons so the bombs will be blown towards a Darkmess Gateway. As soon as one bomb is there, destroy it and you’ve won the fight.

SPEEDWAY SHARPSHOOTER
From the Winter Palace, go south up the mountain. As you go up stay on your right side and you will walk to a white pipe that leads up. Take it. At the top of the mountain is a ghost standing on a bridge. Fight it to get to the round chest behind it. That’s where the Weapon Skin is.
STEAMPUNK SHARPSHOOTER
While going up the mountain in the COULD MOUTH OF THE MOUNTAIN Story Quest, BROTHERS IN ARMS is the second Darkmess Puddle that you have to fight. In this fight, Mario and Luigi have to fight together. After your victory, you’ll get the Steampunk Sharpshooter Skin for Luigi.
STEAMPUNK TRIPLE TROLL
Enter the Winter Palace and go to the library at the top of the Winter Palace Map. There is a white tube that will take you up to the second floor. Here you can fight the Darkmess in the Side Quest called “The Diva and the Bookworm”. Team Members are predefined as Rabbid Princess and Rabbid Rosalina. The reward is this Weapon Skin and a Planet Coin.
PLANET KEY
You can buy the Midwinter Key in the Shop. It costs 11 Planet Coins. You get them by doing Side Quests.
From the Winter Palace Robot Shop, go south all the way up the mountain. Stay to the right until you get to this pipe. Slide through it.
Walk all the way to the top. There you will see the colourful Secret Zone entrance.
Now go through the door and CLEAR THE PRISTINE PEAKS SECRET ZONE.

There are 14 Memories to find at Pristine Peaks. Here’s where to find them. They are listed here in the same order as they appear in the in-game menu.
SQUASHERS
From the Winter Palace, go south up the mountain. Above Dr. Vents Igloo is a cracked wall in the rock. Shoot it with your wave ability. Behind it is a Techno Crab with this memory.
THE PATH TO THE MASK MOUNTAIN
Between the spaceship and the “Darkmess at the Foot of the Mountain” Side Quest, there is a small cave with the techno crab in it. Interact with it to get the memory.
A GATE TO ANOTHER WORLD
From the Winter Palace, go south up the mountain. As you go up stay on your right side and you will walk to a white pipe that leads up. Take it. At the top is a ladder down to a little ledge, where the Techno Crab is with the memory.
THE WINTER PALACE
Enter the Winter Palace and go to the library at the top of the Winter Palace Map. There is a white tube that will take you up to the second floor. Here at the end of the other side, the other balcony, is a techno crab with the memory.
CAPTAIN ORION
There is a Techno Crab with this Memory on the second floor of the entrance hall of the Winter Palace.
GALACTIC ATLAS: PRISTINE PEAKS
You’ll get this memory as reward for completing the BLUE COIN CHALLENGE.
3 MEMORIES IN THE SHOP
You can buy two memories in the robot shop for 1 Planet Coin each. Deep Freezes and Lone Wolves.
MIDNITE
Finish the THE WINTER PALACE Story Quest and you get this Memory as Reward.
LUIGI
While going up the mountain in the COLD MOUTH OF THE MOUNTAIN Story Quest, BROTHERS IN ARMS is the second Darkmess Puddle that you have to fight. In this fight, Mario and Luigi have to fight together. After your victory, you’ll get the Luigi Memory.
