Lost Judgment: Chapter 4 – Red Knife Walkthrough

1 – Head to the Faculty Room

Return to the High School and go to the Faculty Room. Sawa-sensei is sitting at her desk. After the cutscene, leave the room.

Find the Crime Scene:
Head to the marker at Fukutoku Park. Once there, look for an entry point. The front is out of question. Go around the back. There is a broken fencing. Once on the other side, investigate the AC unit close to the fence to have an entry point.

2 – Sneak into the Building

Start climbing up at the AC Unit. Once up, you get a Tutorial on how to cross big gaps. Run towards it and hit the right button. You have to do that on the 2nd level and on the third level where a ladder is. Don’t go up the ladder. Instead, look for a gap in the balcony railing. There is a pipe you can use as path forward. Then jump up on the pipe to Parcour the pipes toward the building entrance.

Look for the marker. It guides you. Once inside, jump down and Investigate the Scene:
-> Look at the black stain on the floor.
-> Look at the arrow burn marks.

When the cops arrive, show them Mikoshiba’s photo. Ask all the provided questions. Chase and catch the Suspicious Man and return to Yokihama 99.

3 – Look up Wiretapping

Open the Buzz Researcher App on your phone and look for “listening device“. There is a crowd standing in front of a building – watching Tsukomo argue with 2 guards. “Lets show just how trustworthy I can be” – Show your lawyer’s badge.

Tsukomo will give you a new gadget – the Detector. Also a new Side Case: Dastardly Detective: Introduction. This side case will be closed after finishing the next step 4.4. of the Main Case.

4 – Search for the Bug

In the parking lot, enter Observation Mode and choose the Detector.

Follow the beeping sound around the parking lot. It has to get faster. When you do it right, you will get a light on the detector. The green light means you point the detector into the right direction. Here’s where the bug is.

Return to Yokohama 99 and get some Rest.

5 – Take a Taxi to Ikebukuro Station

The easiest way to get a taxi, is to open your Taxi App and pick Ikubukuro Station.

Once there, investigate the train car. Spot the camera above the exit.

6 – Find All Security Cameras

Find all Security Cameras at the station:
(all cameras in the screenshot below)

The first one is right at the starting position, pointing to the stairs.
The second one is right behind the first near the clock.
Two cameras are covering the one track.
Camera Total: 4

Go to the marker on the map and Search for more Security Cameras. From the marker, move a bit forward.

There is a round camera in the center under the stairs.
One camera is further down the track.
There is one camera by the other track.
Walk further away to the next stairs up. There’s a camera at the stairs and one further down the track.
Camera Total: 5

Go to again to the marker on the map and Search for more Security Cameras, this is the third time.

There is a camera right at the starting position.
Nearby is a camera looking at the other track.
There is a camera right above you.
There’s a round camera overlooking the other track.
The last one is close by the stairs, near the clock.
Camera Total: 5

7 – Overhead View of Station Platform

What follows is an overhead overview:
-> Examine the blue “X” to the left.
-> Examine the dotted line.
-> Examine the stairs in the center.
-> Examine the blue “X” to the right.
If you move the examination pointer from left to right you won’t miss it.

8 – Talk to Sawa

Return to the high school and go to the faculty room on the second floor. Talk to Sawa-sensei. Then return to Yokohama 99, where you meet a dog – the detective dog. The A New Partner? Side Case starts.

Just follow where the dog is going. You’ll meet a boy. Find his mother. Keep following the dog to the parking lot nearby and fight the Yakuza. You’ll find out right after, that this is Amasawa’s dog. This will complete this short Side Case.

You now have the Dog App, where you can call the dog if you need a good nose. Return to Yokohama 99.

9 – Get Info from Tsukumo

Go to Tsukumo to get the new info. Chase the “White Mask” and defeat Tesso. On the way out, fight the other Liumang. Finally, return to Yokohama 99 and rest on the couch.

10 – Travel to Kamurocho

Get a Taxi to Kamurocho. On your arrival, defeat the Thugs and go to Genda Law Office.

After the chat, take a Taxi to the Tokyo Detention Center. In the interview, show Ehara the Photo of Hiro Mikoshiba.

11 – Return to Yagami Detective Agency

Return to the office to complete the chapter.
