The mission starts with a conversation with the nearby guard. He informs you about a crowd blocking access inside. To proceed, make your way downstairs into a cave area where you’ll encounter another man. Speak with him and then return to the guarded house. The path is now open, allowing you to enter and begin your investigation.

Exploring the House and Examining Clues

Once inside the house, talk to the guard, the servant, and Sumaq’s wife to gather information. Activate Lara’s survival instincts to spot clues, which will highlight a blood trail leading out of the room. Examine the scene carefully, as this blood trail is a key element of the investigation.

Follow the trail outside until you reach Akna. Speak with her to gather further details. At this point, the path forward is obstructed by a blocked door. To progress, leave the house and turn right, finding a rocky wall to climb. This will help you access the building from above.

Unveiling the Evidence

Inside the upper section of the house, use Lara’s senses to find a bloodstain on the wall. Carefully examine the area and then head outside to locate a potential dig site near a tree. Using your tools, dig up a knife, which is a significant piece of evidence linking to the murder.

Concluding the Mission

Following this discovery, Akna confesses to the crime. Return to the guard near the starting point and report your findings. He will acknowledge the results of your investigation, grant you the Vestige reward, and free the servant, marking the successful conclusion of the mission.
