Paint Cages contain rare loot. To unlock the Cage, find its 3 locks and shoot them. There are 2 Paint Cages at the Flying Waters in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Here’s where they are and how to open them.
Paint Cage Flying Waters – Entrance
This Paint Cage is right after arriving at Flying Waters. It is the first Paint Cage you encounter. Paint Cages contain rare loot. To unlock the Cage, find its 3 locks and shoot them.
Paint Cage Lock 1
With the Paint Cage in your back, look back at the statue by the Flying Waters entrance. The lock is attached to the giant fish fin. The Lock is up there.
Paint Cage Lock 2
With the Paint Cage to your right, look to the opposite side, where you can see the lock attached to the rocky wall.
Paint Cage Lock 3
This Paint Lock is attached to the wall just behind the Paint Cage.
Paint Cage Flying Waters – Coral Cave
This Paint Cage is not far from the Coral Cave Resting Camp. From the camp, head into the Coral Cave and go all the way up. Once you see the overhead lamps, look for a red, darker area to the right. Use the climbing points to get down and grapple over to the next cave.
This cave is very dark and red, with the Paint Cage to the right, two Cruler guarding it. To the left you will see a couple of grapple points.
Paint Cage Lock 1
The first lock is very close to the Paint Cage, attached to a cylindrical formation.
Paint Cage Lock 2
The second Paint Cage lock is visible when standing next to the Paint Cage. It is attached to a mine to the right.
Paint Cage Lock 3
The last Paint Cage Lock at Coral Cave is just above the Paint Cage.
