There are 12 armour sets in Ghost of Yotei. Each comes with various dyes that can sometimes be applied to its matching helmet, hat, headband, or mask. Here’s a guide on how to get every armour and find all of their dyes and how they look when applied.
Game+ Note:
Start a new game with Game+ to find a “Mysterious Merchant” near Atsu’s Home. Here you can buy two more sets of Armour (Oyuki’s and Ina’s), plus weapon kits, armour, shamisen dyes, charms, hats, and masks. All those require “Ghost Flowers,” which can be earned by replaying the game.

Description:
“A kimono stained red with blood. Imbued with a mother’s love to shroud its wearer from danger.”
Meet the storyteller at Sakuru Woods in the southeast of the Teshio Ridge region. He’s at the bright orange Mother Daughter Tree. This starts “The Crimson Kimono” quest.
Investigate the mother and daughter snow sculpture nearby. Then, follow the Yuki Mushi bugs to an Abandoned Camp. Examine a child’s doll and read the scroll.
Travel to the east of the Hakodake Mountains. You will know that you’re at the right place when you see the orange tree with the bugs swirling around it. Examine the Mother Daughter sculpture to summon the Yuki Mushi.
Follow them and fight the Nine Tails when they appear. Interact with the swarm to continue. They will lead you to a climbable wall up to an abandoned house. Examine the hunting gear near the tree stump, and inside, read the note.
The last stop to find the Crimson Kimono is the “Mountain House” in the southeast. Look for the Mother Daughter Tree here. Examine the sculpture and follow the snow bugs.
They will lead to a crawl space in the mountain towards the east. Enter the cave and keep following the bugs.
Exit the cave at the other side and pull down a branch to cross over to the next cave. Cross the second cave to find the Old Home. Enter the house and investigate the Kimono, the bloody shears on the floor, the sketches on the table. Head upstairs and read the note. Head to the nearby pond with the sculpture and interact with it.
The Yuki Mushi will then guide you uphill to a grave with a stone pile next to it, where the Crimson Kimono is hidden.

Spider Lily Armour
Description:
“The armour of a general, lost to grief. All enemies fall to its bloodthirsty intent.”
To get this armor, go to the southern part of the Tokachi Range region. When you find a Mysterious Gate, approach it, and Ugetsu, the Storyteller, will appear to start “The Spider Lily General” quest.
Squeeze through the gap to investigate the Large Pagoda behind the gate. Follow the lit path and investigate the killed swordsmen on the way. Enter the Large Pagoda area – now identified as “Abandoned Tominaga Estate” and investigate the Pagoda to the right. There is a key inside a box.
Collect the key and the general appears, asking you to find your way home. The main gate in the area requires four keys. One from the Pagoda (just picked up), one from the Maze, one from the Gravestone, and the fourth from the Cave.
Head to the west, and you will encounter graverobbers. Defeat them and climb the ladder. Follow the path to the upper graveyard, where you will encounter some more grave robbers. Attack them, and the general will defeat them for you, leaving the gravestone key.
Return to the center of the Abandoned Tominaga Estate and head to the northeast. There is a lit entrance to the maze. Inside, you will also find the Misty Valley Bamboo Strike, which you can only use after you’ve defeated the maze. Always follow the path with the red flowers. Do this three times to find the maze key hanging on the Misty Valley Bamboo Strike.
Exit the maze (the two lamps mark the exit) and head to the east, where you will find the cave entrance. Talk to the Saito Outlaw at the cavern entrance. Enter the cave and follow the torches to a campfire. From there, follow the path upwards, where to can climb up, to a hole in the roof of the cave.
Here are the red spider lilies, leading to a crawl space. Squeeze through there and follow the red flowers into another cave, where you will hear a Saito Outlaw scream in agony. Descend to find a room with a child’s drawings. The cave key is in the note in this room.
Once you’ve collected all four keys, head back to the main gate to unlock it. Inspect the blood-soaked bed, then make your way to the courtyard and follow the trail of red flowers to a door. Open the door and step into what looks like a practice range. In the center, you’ll find another bloodstain to examine. After that, leave the range and follow the lamps to a barricade. Use your grapple to pull it open, squeeze through, and prepare to face the general.
