Ghost of Yotei: All Familiar Locations

A Memory of Guidance

There is a familiar location east of the Yotei’s Shadow Inn, marked by a yellow ginkgo tree. Return to the past and follow the girl. At some point, she will prompt you to crawl through the bushes and climb to the top of the hill.

At the top, you will be brought back to the present, and the golden bird appears, guiding you to a lookout.

A Memory of Impressions

After following the story for a while, return home to find a memory of Atsu’s father near the ginkgo tree.

Draw two Sumi-e with the father and return to the present, where you can find the Sumi-e on the floor in the house.

A Memory of Pride

Return home after following the story for a while, and look for a memory near the house.

Jubei will complain that a bird has stolen his headband. Back in the present, climb the house and find the nest on the roof.

A Memory of Spring

Relive the memory west of Home, near Lake Shikotsu. Look for a tree with yellow leaves and head back to the past. Climb the cliff by following the white markings and plant the seed under the tree there.

Ainu Hunting Grounds

North of the Outcrop Homestead are the Golden Foothills with the Ainu Hunting Grounds. Talk to the girl near the shelter to trigger the Familiar memory.

In the past, talk to Father, then follow Jubei. In the game, shoot 3 rings at least, six to impress the boy. After the game, you will be drawn back to the present, where Atsu will be recognised. Play another game in the present.

Master of Shamisen

Start the memory at this location in Master Heijiro’s Garden. In the memory, follow Mother and melee attack the highlighted bamboo. Return to mother when done.

Next, go to the entrance and start the memory there. Pick up the pot and carry it to the location highlighted by Mother.

The last memory is towards the center island from the entrance. Start the memory and follow Mother to an island, where you can plant a sapling. At the end of the memory, Master Heijiro appears. Follow him and sit down when prompted to learn a new song.
