Here’s how you brew the First Beer in the Day One Tutorial in Brewmaster – Beer Brewing Simulator. Step-by-Step Guide.
RETRIEVE BREW POT (SMALL) FROM THE EQUIPMENT CUPBOARD
The equipment cupboard is in the kitchen. Go there with the usual WASD keys on your keyboard. Open it with E
To retrieve an item, select the item’s icon and press the Retrieve button at the bottom right. The item will be added to your inventory, which you carry around with you (the bar with the numbers at the centre bottom). Exit the cupboard with ESC, when you have the pot.
FILL BREW POT (SMALL) WITH 21.0 L OF WATER
Put the pot inside the sink with the left mouse button while pointing your mouse cursor to the sink. Once the pot is inside the sink, take off the Lid with V.
With the lid of the pot now open, point with your mouse at the tap and press E to open it. Now let the water run into the pot until it reaches 21 litres. You can see the filling level, by pointing your mouse to the pot. You can even open up X-Ray with G to get a more detailed view about the pot’s content.
Filling is very slow. But you can speed up time by pressing T and then use your mouse wheel to change the speed of time. Make sure you go back to normal before you reach the 21 litres. Just press T again.
Close the tap the same way you opened it.
In case you filled up too much, you can pour out some water into the sink by picking up the pot, face the sink with the pot in your hands and press E to start pouring. Pour with the mouse wheel and when you reach the 21 litres, stop by pressing E again.
HEAT BREW POT (SMALL) ON THE KITCHEN HOB
Remove the Brew Pot from the Sink and place it on the Kitchen Hob, then turn the Hob on.
Place the pot on the Hob with a mouse click and turn it on by pressing E.
RETRIEVE A CAN OF MALT EXTRACT FROM THE FRIDGE FREEZER
Time to add your first ingredient while the water heats. Open the fridge with E and pick one of the two malts by clicking on it. It does not matter which one you pick. Your choice.
Click on the malt you would like to take and change the amounts to 2kg. Hit “Confirm” and you have the malt in your inventory bar. Exit the fridge with ESC.
ADD 2 KG OF MALT EXTRACT TO BREW POT (SMALL)
Point your mouse to the pot and select “Pour Into” by pressing the E button. Pour the whole can into the Brew Pot by rolling your mouse wheel. Click the right mouse button to stop pouring.
RETRIEVE A BAG OF STEEPABLE GRAIN FROM THE INGREDIENTS CUPBOARD
Open the Ingredients Cupboard with E. Then, like when you picked the malt before, click the Steepable Grain you’d like and click “Retrieve”. Change the amount to 500g, confirm and exit the cupboard with ESC.
CLIP STEEPABLE GRAINS TO BREW POT (SMALL)
With the bag of grains in your hands, go back to the pot, look at it with your mouse and press E to hang it into the pot.
BOIL THE WORT IN THE BREW POT (SMALL)
While the grains are hanging inside the pot, bring the temperature up to 100 degrees celsius.
You can accelerate time, by pressing T and change the pace with your mouse wheel.
ADD 1 BAG OF BITTERING AND 1 BAG OF BRITISH HOPS
Go back to the fridge, open it by pressing E and select your hops. You need to take both of them this time, but different amounts.
50g of British Hops and 20g of Bittering Hops. You pick the amounts the same way as you did before with the other ingredients. Leave the fridge with ESC once you have both ingredients.
ADD THE BAGS OF BITTERING AND BRITISH HOPS TO THE POT
With the bag of Bittering Hops in your hands, interact with the pot by pressing E. Do the same with the British Hops. Change what you have in your hands by pressing the buttons 1-8. According to the numbered bar at the centre bottom of your screen.
Cook the liquid with all 3 bags hanging inside for 10 minutes. Fast forward time by pressing T and use the mouse wheel to accelerate time.
Then, just remove all 3 bags one after the other by pressing E and turn the oven off by pointing at it and pressing E.
Use the calender next to the hob by pointing at it and pressing E and press Advance. The calendar is standard set to skip a day at a time.
RETRIEVE FERMENTATION CONTAINER FROM CUPBOARD
Go to the cupboard from where you got the pot and get the Fermentation Container out. Put it on top of one of the tables by clicking on the table with your left mouse button.
Remove the lid of the Fermentation Container by pressing V.
Then, go over to the hob and pick up the Brew Pot by clicking it with your left mouse button. Go over to the Fermentation Container and pour the liquid in by pressing E while pointing at it with the Brew Pot. Use the mouse wheel to control your pouring.
You can now put the Brew Pot back inside the cupboard by clicking the cupboard while holding the pot. Then, go over to the fridge and get a packet of yeast.
Return to the Fermentation Container and pour the packet of yeast in by pressing E. Again, control the flow with your mouse wheel. When the packet is empty, you can throw it in the bin next to the fridge, by clicking on it.
All you need to do now is close the lid on the Fermentation Container by pressing V and then go over to the Calendar, use it by pressing E and advance 15 days in time.
BEER CONDITIONING
Fermentation is now complete. Go to the Ingredients Cupboard next to the Equipment Cupboard and get a bag of Corn Sugar. This time you have to pour the right amount.
Remove the lid of the Fermentation Container by pressing V. Pour 150g of Corn Sugar into the Fermentation Container. You can control the pouring with your mouse wheel. You can place the bag of Corn Sugar back into the Ingredients Cupboard by clicking on the cupboard with the sugar in hand.
Next, go to the Equipment Cupboard and get the Plastic Barrel (Small) and a Tube. Place the Plastic Barrel on the floor just below the Fermentation Container. Remove the lid of the Plasic Barrel with V. Now you can put the tube inside the Plastic Barrel. Attach the other end at the Fermentation Container’s Tap. Connect the Tube by pressing E.
Time to open the Tap of the Fermentation Container and let the liquid flow into the Plastic Barrel. Accelerate time if you need to.
Detach the Tube by holding E and close the Plastic Barrel’s lid by pressing V.
Go back to the calendar and skip 20 days.
TASTE AND PACKAGE YOUR BEER
Pick up the Plastic Barrel and take it over to the Taps. Just click it with your mouse to pick it up, carry it over to the mission marker and press the E button at the taps. You will now see your brewing results and can pick a design.
Finish this task by going to the exit.
