Where are the Building Materials in Dredge?

Here’s a alphabetical list of all known building and special materials, their location in Dredge. There are a lot of areas around the coastlines to dredge materials from and they respawn after some time. I will add a couple of them here.

All Materials you don’t need, you can sell at the Shipyard!

BOLT OF CLOTH

Bolt of Cloth can be dredged in many areas. They are around the coastlines and reappear after a while.
Here are some of them.

EXPLOSIVES

To get explosives, you have to follow a whole story line at GALE CLIFFS:

– Dock at “The Ruins” and talk to the Hermit. You’ll get the task to dredge for the Family Crest.
– Dock at “Ingfell” and talk to the Retired Whaler. Ask him about Explosives.
– The location is marked on your map. Dredge for it and show it to the Hermit at “The Ruins”.
– Dock at “Ingfell” and show the crest to the Retired Whaler.
– Head through the rock arch, turn left and interact with the yellow flags there.
– Head back to “Ingfell”, talk to the Retired Whaler.
– Dock at “The Ruins”, load the Hermit into your cargo.
– Dock at “Ingfell”.
– The Whaling Yards at “Ingfell” now sell Explosives.

Apart from the Whaling Yards, the Travelling Merchant only has one explosive at the time. If you need more, the WHALING YARDS has a whole stack.

You can then buy it at the Travelling Merchant, go to the very last “Miscellaneous” tab to find the Explosives.

REFINED METAL

Refined Metal is needed for the first boat upgrade. You can buy it from the Travelling Merchant at the Dusty Pontoon in the GALE CLIFFS area.

At the Travelling Merchant, go to the very last “Miscellaneous” tab to find the Refined Metal.

After you’ve acquired the explosives you can free access to Refined Metal dredging pools:
