Betamon is a Rookie Digimon, which is the weakest form, and an his strength is “Defense”.
Betamon is a Wrathful (Virus) Digimon (see the Virus symbol) and therefore STRONG AGAINST HARMONIOUS (DATA) Digimon (the ones with the Cube symbol).
DESCRIPTION
An Amphibian Monster that walks on four legs. Betamon is a docile Monster with a mild temperament, but unleashes its special move, Electric Shock, when angered, attacking its enemies with over a million volts of electric current.
WHERE TO FIND
There is at least one Battle area in each named big area on the World Map. Additionally, you can find monsters by scanning all areas with your camera. See areas, where you can find Betamon below:

When fighting with Digimon, you can also choose to talk to them. They will ask you one of seven question and you can fill a bar above them. When you manage to fill three of the six cubes to fill the bar, it will turn friendly and you can either ask it to join or to give you an item.

“Is wanting quiet time to yourself such a crime?” –> NO, BUT IT’S NOT EASY. (2 Points)

“If your friend was off causing trouble, how would you deal with it? –> I’D SCOLD THEM! (2 Points)
“Sometimes you should act on emotion instead of logic, don’t you think? –> BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. (2 Points)
“What would you do if someone told you an idea you believed in was incorrect? –> I’D BE EMBARRASSED (1 Point)
I’d like to avoid a pointless battle, if possible… –> THEN LET’S RETREAT. (2 Points)
SKILL
“Paralysis Resistance” – Passive Skill
Less likely to get paralyzed.
Each unit has their own Passive Skills, unique abilities that remain active during the entire battle. You can check these abilities on the Stats page for each unit.
“Attack”
Deals Water Damage to target(s).
The Attack has an Effect of 50 and costs zero Skill Points. The range is two squares with an area of effect of one.
“Electric Shock”
Deals Wind damage to target(s), with a low chance of paralyzing them.
The Electric Shock Attack has an Effect of 95 and costs 15 Skill Points. The range is 3 squares with an area of effect of one.
RESISTANCES
Units have individual resistances to Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and Dark element skills. The higher the resistance, the less damage they receive from a corresponding skill. Also, equipping certain Enhancement items can boost these resistances.
Fire: 25 (strong against fire)
Water: 25 (strong against water)
Wind: 0
Earth: -50 (weak against earth)
Light: 0
Dark: 0
