Crimson Desert: Someone’s Letter (Ursula’s Treasure) Walkthrough

Starting the Questline

Capture the Bounty: Ursula in the House Thorel quest Outlaws of Demeniss. She will leave behind Ursula’s Journal. Read it to start the Demeniss Commission: Someone’s Letter.

Buried Treasure

Description
Examine the farmhouse

After reading the journal, you will get the quest marker for the Greenpond Farm north of Demeniss City. Enter the farmhouse and find Ursula’s Treasure map on the table.

Read the treasure map. There are three locations highlighted on the map with the words:
Where the earth rolls like flowing waves,
Fourteen times the green tide bows its head.
These ripples form a triangular embrace,
Cradling silence at their heart.
Where the unbending stalks meet their end,
A final breath seeps into the earth.

If you look at how the river forms a “U” shape on the map, you can find the location on the in-game map. It’s just northeast of your current location, and the game gives you a quest marker. There are three fields. One is shaped like a pyramid, the second has a wavy pattern, and the third has a straight-lined pattern. There are also the numbers 1, 14, and 15 associated with them.

Wavy Field

The Wavy Field is in the center of the marked area, between the two roads. Start in the west and count 14 rows toward the east to find a little hill. Dig here with a shovel to find the treasure. There are multiple dig sites right next to each other at this location! Make sure you dig out a document!

Triangle Field

The Triangle Field is in the northwest of the previous wavy field. The digsite is at the center of the triangle.

Straight Lined Field

The Straight Lined Field is the last field on the treasure map, and the number 15 stands next to it. You will find the field in the far south of the previous triangle-shaped field. The digsite is in the easternmost corner of the vineyard.

Find the Treasure in Ursula’s Secret Place

Based on the text in these three documents, you can now find the treasure:

In the shadows untouched by light,
The waves brush against the wall, lingering in the depths.

Travel to Demeniss Castle. There is a pond, not really a river. If you are relatively new to this region, the castle guards won’t let you in, and if you try to fly in, they will react with hostility.

How to Reach the Treasure Spot

Make sure to wear equipment that has the Demenissian Faction Disguise attribute. Damiane is fully equipped, so it’s a good idea to play as her for this. Drop down into the lake from the west, unseen by the guards. Then make your way to the bridge by swimming or sneaking on the rocks.

Climb onto the wall just under the bridge. Is a revolving wall. Hang onto one side of the revolving wall, then enter focus and use Focused Force Palm on the other side. The wall will turn, and you will have access to the treasure chest.
