Starting the Quest
After talking to Gimnir at the Kilnden Workshop, he wants Kliff to repair it.
Quest Description:
“Fixing the kiln may grant a closer look at their craftsmanship. Help with the repairs and examine the pots in the workshop.”
Activate the Ancient Generator
If you look around at the Kilden Workshop, you will notice that the buildings have yellow cranks or handlebars. There is also a switch that appears to show the energy level. Grab this switch and turn it to the right.
Now look up this structure. You will see glowing symbols. There are three platforms that you can turn to align the symbols. The platforms can be selected with the switch. Use the switch in combination with the yellow bar to align the glowing symbols. This will activate the power.
Fix the Dismantled Kiln
The dismantled kiln is west of the disconnected kiln. It is in pieces and needs to be put back together again.
To put the pieces back together, use Axiom Force to lift the fragments on top of the base, then use Aerial Force Palm to put them together. If you don’t know how to do that, look it up in the menu guides (Others -> Guides).
Axiom Force: Guide #118, Aerial Force Palm: Guide #119.
First, align the middle piece so it fits perfectly.
Then, pick up the top piece and align it perfectly on top. Then climb the structure and use Aerial Force Palm at the top, facing downward, to merge the pieces back together. You have to look down, jump into the air, and then use Aerial Force Palm to merge them. Just standing there without jumping won’t work.
With the dismantled kiln repaired, it just has to be activated. The plug on this is fine; just push the yellow lever as far to the left as it goes.
Put Fuel Into the Kiln
To put fuel into the kiln, just head north to the fuel kiln. There are five round objects marked on the map. They are glowing blue. Grab the blue glowing balls with Axiom Force and put them into the open slots at the kiln.
There are five power balls that need to be returned to the kiln. Three of them are close to the kiln, the other two are scattered around it. Look for the blue glow. One of them is embedded in a bird statue. Pull them out with the “pull” button on the controller.
After placing all five energy balls back into the kiln slots, all you need to do is lean again onto the yellow lever and push it to the left to turn it on.
