Chapter 3: Pioneering Overview

This is the fifth quest of six in the “Pioneering” questline in Chapter 3.

1 – Hope After the Draught
2 – Scattered Comrades
3 – Rumors from the Sawmill
4 – A Gentle Touch
-> 5 – Bustling Hill <-
6 – Greymanes Reunited

Completing these six quests will lead to the start of Chapter 4.

Starting the Quest

You’ve received Shakatu’s letter in the Dragon Head letter box at Howling Hill in the quest: A Gentle Touch, and you can send your Graymanes to missions now.

Quest Description:
“Securing more space is a top priority to accommodate the growing number of comrades. To house more personnel and expand our forces, the camp must undergo a major expansion.”

Dispatch the Howling Hill Expansion Mission

To do so, open your map and select the Howling Hill location. You then have the option to “Inspect” the Howling Hill. You will then get a bird’s-eye view of your camp. Select “Missions” and pick the Howling Hill Camp Expansion. You will then see the available Comrades with their skills. Select both companions -> Comrades Dispatched -> 2. Don’t forget to hit the “Dispatch” button.

Expand Howling Hill

The expansion takes 17 in-game hours. Wait for its completion. Go hunting, sleep, or do whatever you please to pass the time, while Luke and Ronald do their work. This will complete the quest, and “Greymanes Reunited” starts.
