This walkthrough covers the Abyss Rocket Device quest in Crimson Desert, a short Scholastone Institute faction quest that unlocks after completing The Secret of Concentration for Grunvar. It follows a similar structure to the Flow of the Abyss quest – find the device, observe it, and report back to the researcher.

Complete The Secret to Concentration quest for Grunvar at the Scholastone Institute to unlock research and research the Beekeeper Gear Blueprint. After its completion, this quest is unlocked.

“There is an ongoing research about a gravity device that uses the power of the Abyss.”
Observe the Abyss Rocket Device
The Abyss Rocket Device is just by the Research Institute’s exit. Use the “Look” prompt at the marked location and wait for the “Learn Knowledge” bar to fill up to observe the Abyss Rocket Device.
Share the Observations with the Researcher
The researcher is nearby. Talk to them to complete the quest.
You can now research:

How to Get a Cloudcart/Balloon
You can send your comrades to the Emberwind Workshop. If you have an engineer (Arnold can be found in the A Rumor in St. Halssius Quest), send him and five others to build a Cloudcruiser.
