Control Resonant Underpass Accounts Collectibles – All 15 Archives Locations

Underpass Accounts is one of the collectible bundles in the Control Resonant Archives, with 15 collectibles in the Underpass. The Underpass opens up in the story quest Recursions and Iterations, when Dylan has to return to the bottom of the Sinkhole in the Evacuation Zone to find a missing research team. The Underpass entrance is at the bottom of the Sinkhole. Here is where every Underpass Accounts collectible is, in the same order as the in-game menu, from Here Be Dragons right at the entrance to Grist’s Final Words at the end of the relays.

1 – Here Be Dragons

Location: Underpass

Description: Agent Schultz lays out the team’s intention of exploring the Underpass.

Here Be Dragons is the first document to find in the Underpass. It is right after entering the Underpass coming from the Sinkhole.

2 – In Case Things Go Wrong

Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (2 of 15)
Description: A note by Agent Schultz, left behind for any colleagues who might follow his team into the Underpass.

From the corridor leading into the Underpass in the northeast of the map, where Here Be Dragons is, drop down to a platform with two rows of desks and a save point. In Case Things Go Wrong is on one of the desks.

3 – The Sheer Scale Of The Underpass

Quest: Recursions and Iterations

Description: Agent Schultz grapples with the sheer scale of the Underpass.

In the story quest Recursions and Iterations, Dylan follows the ropes of Agent Schultz past the Underpass vendor to the next save point. The Sheer Scale Of The Underpass is right there.

4 – Blazing A Trail

Quest: Recursions and Iterations
Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (4 of 15)
Description: Agent Schultz discusses the FBC’s future exploration of the Underpass.

Keep following the rope from The Sheer Scale Of The Underpass. Cross over on the shifting platforms onto a bigger red, square platform with Hiss and defeat them. Then shift onto the ceiling and drop down the square hole in the floor to land on a bigger concrete section. Dylan points out something in the distance and the Underpass Resonant quest activates. 5 – Ayad Transmission

Location: Research Site, Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (5 of 15)
Description: Ayad encounters difficulties when attempting to reach Pope.

Ayad Transmission is on the western side of the Underpass location named Research Site on the map.

6 – Strange Lights

Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (6 of 15)
Description: Agent Schultz notes the appearance of strange lights in the distance.

Strange Lights is on the same level as The Spire Fast Travel door, at a small lookout towards the south. Dylan can also report the distant lights to Zoe here.

7 – Frequent Disagreements

Location: Another Research Site, Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (7 of 15)
Description: Dr. Steinbeck notes increasing friction within the team.

Frequent Disagreements is in the same room as the Player Customization Box at Another Research Site.

8 – Everybody’s So Damn Tired

Quest: Recursions and Iterations
Location: Another Research Site, Underpass

Description: Malik Ayad discusses the engineering challenges of working in the Underpass.

Everybody’s So Damn Tired is at the third research site, Another Research Site, in the center area with the researchers, where Dylan meets Dr. Grist in the story quest Recursions and Iterations.

9 – Note To Self

Location: Another Research Site, Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (9 of 15)
Description: A note written by Dr. Melanie Grist for herself.

Note To Self is in the same section near the dead scientists as Everybody’s So Damn Tired, but closer to the stairs.

10 – Grist Hiss Recording

Quest: Recursions and Iterations – Track the Time Fluctuations
Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (10 of 15)
Description: Dr. Grist encounters the Hiss… and something else.

Grist Hiss Recording is one of the items that need to be picked up during the Track the Time Fluctuations steps in the story quest Recursions and Iterations.

11 – Waste Disposal

Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (11 of 15)
Description: Evidence of a heated internal debate on FBC regulations.

West of the area named Research Site on the map is another research site. Look for a pile of full garbage bags with Waste Disposal on the floor.

12 – Final Survivor

Location: Underpass

Description: Reflections from the last surviving member of the expedition team.

Final Survivor is at the same research site as Waste Disposal, just below the dead scientists.

13 – Scrawled Note

Location: Underpass

Description: A scrawled note from one of the expedition team members.

Cross the chasm with the cable car to reach yet another research station. Scrawled Note is in the office with the Character Customization box.

14 – I Don’t Mind Dying

Quest: Recursions and Iterations – Follow the Relays to Grist
Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (14 of 15)
Description: A note from another timeline’s Dylan.

During the Follow the Relays to Grist step in Recursions and Iterations, Dylan comes across a dead Dylan. I Don’t Mind Dying is next to his body.

15 – Grist’s Final Words

Quest: Recursions and Iterations – Follow the Relays to Grist
Location: Underpass
Collectible Category: Underpass Accounts (15 of 15)
Description: Dr. Grist goes down fighting to make sure the FBC gets all of the data.

Follow the relays Grist has set up in the story quest Recursions and Iterations. When Dylan finds her, she gets killed but leaves Grist’s Final Words behind.
