Location: New Eden Town
Collectibles: 4 of 32 for the Bookworm trophy
In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, collectibles are documents with a purple background. When Red and Antea first arrive in New Eden Town during Landfall, most houses are locked, so you can only pick up two of the four collectibles. The other two become available when you return to town during Homecoming near the end of the game, when all the doors are open.
First visit (Landfall)
1 – Where Do Nightmares Come From? and 3 – Banishers Techniques
Return to New Eden (Homecoming)
2 – The Ghost of War and 4 – The Last Settlement of New Eden
1 – Charles’ House: Where Do Nightmares Come From?
Location: New Eden Town – bedroom upstairs in Charles’ and Esther’s house
Available: first visit during Landfall
You can get this collectible at the very beginning of the game in Charles’ and Esther’s house. After talking to Esther, Antea can walk around freely. Climb the staircase and go to the bedroom. Right next to the door is a barrel with a candle, and the document lies on top of it.
Missed it?
You can still pick it up when you return to New Eden Town during Homecoming.
2 – Pennington’s House: The Ghost of War
Location: New Eden Town – Pennington’s house near the Inn at the main square
Available: return to New Eden during Homecoming
Pennington’s house is locked on your first visit, so wait until Antea and Red return to New Eden during Homecoming. The house is near the Inn at the main square. Inside, enter the first room to the left. The Ghost of War lies straight ahead on the bookshelf.
3 – The Schoolhouse: Banishers Techniques
Location: New Eden Town – the schoolhouse Shelter
Available: first visit during Landfall
The schoolhouse is the only place in New Eden Town with a campfire, which makes it a Shelter. Once inside, go straight ahead. Banishers Techniques lies on top of a table.
Missed it?
You can still pick it up when you return to New Eden Town during Homecoming.
4 – Haskell’s House: The Last Settlement of New Eden and Creeping Ivy
Location: New Eden Town – Haskell’s house on the hill, closest to the meeting house
Available: return to New Eden during Homecoming
Haskell’s house sits atop the hill, closest to the meeting house. It is closed on your first visit and only opens when Red and Antea return to New Eden during Homecoming.
How to Remove the Creeping Ivy at Haskell’s House
Before you can enter, you have to destroy the Creeping Ivy. Follow the three roots and destroy the orange glowing orbs with Red’s help. One of the orbs is behind a cart that you need to move first.
Inside Haskell’s house, climb the stairs and go to the bedroom. The Last Settlement of New Eden (1687 and Counting) lies on top of a shelf unit next to the door.
