From the X-Wing landing platform, use “Spark” again on the same mechanical arm with which you came here. You can then summon a placeable grapple balloon. Place it near the metal grid wall high up on the Observatory.

You can now grapple onto the balloon. Make it catapult you to the platform where the metal grid is. From there you can pull a panel to get inside.

Enter the Diagnostics Corridor from where you climbed up from the outside and you will find this Databank entry as an Echo just around the corner near a big ventilator.

2 – Databank Entry #110

Minor Oculus

Follow Bode through the big round opening and up, where you have to do a couple of wall-runs on moving side panels.

At the other side of the wall-run you have to reach a small metal panel, from where you can do another wall-run, to get into a room with a green Force Field – Where the Meditation Point is. The Force Field needs a dash.

Follow the path to get to the big round room. BD-1 will point out the Databank Entry. It is the white pillar in the center that contains Koboh Matter.

3 – Treasure

In the center piece that BD just scanned has a slot for a “Spark” at the top of it. It will make the room rotate. Let it rotate twice and you will get access to a new area with green carpet.

After you’ve defeated the enemies, look for the grapple balloon dispenser in this room. Grab one and take it to the very bright exit window, where you drop it outside in the center.

Grapple to the balloon you’ve just placed and look to the right. There is another balloon and another entrance with a green Force Field to the building. Dash through there.

In this room, at the ground level, is the Treasure lying on top of a metal box.

4 – Essence

The Essence is in the same room as the last collectible, just above you. Use the outside grapple balloon again to catapult back in to this top layer.

5 – Essence

Perplexity Perk

Continue with the story and go to the top of the Observatory – to the “Grand Oculus”. The Grand Oculus itself does not have any collectibles, but there is an Essence there. It will count as the second Essence in the Diagnostics Corridor.
