General Advice:
Obviously, you have to upgrade your robots.
You can buy the required materials for the parts but there are materials you can't buy.
For these, you have to do practice matches. You'll see at the practice match selection which items you can win.
Don't be too proud to let the AI play now and then.
It can be grindy to finish this story...

TALK TO AMASAWA AT THE MRC / POP INTO THE ROBOTICS CLUB
At the start of chapter 3, after you finished working on the Dance Club Case, Amasawa is messaging you to come over to the Club.
The Robotics Club is on the 4th floor in the other building.
Once in, talk to all 4 members.
Later, you take over as the robot operator.
Win the competition.
If you use a lot of "boosts" to get to the pieces, it's easier.

REPORT ON THE ROBOTICS CLUB TO AMASAWA / CONTINUE INVESTIGATING THE ROBOTICS CLUB
Go back to the MRC.
After reporting back, return to the Robotics Club on the 4th floor.
You learn how to customize your robot.

CONTINUE INVESTIGATING THE ROBOTICS CLUB
Leave the room after customization.
After the chat with Akuta, go back to the Robotics Club and talk to Doumu.
Win the next competion.
After this cutscene, Amasawa will contact you about the Professor.

Then ask for Itokura's Assistance at the MRC.
Then find her on the roof and talk to her. Suggest her to join the Robotics Club.

Talk to Doumu
Win the next competition.

"Find Sakura and Itokura at the Cafeteria"
Talk to them.

CONTINUE THE ROBOTICS CLUB INVESTIGATION / HEAD TO THE PRELIMINARIES
Go back to the Robotics Club.
Win the competition.

At the next team conversation suggest an idea meeting.

After winning the next competition, you will progress in the Professor Case and get access to the Todoroki Boxing Gym Story.
Go back to the Robotics Club and talk to Sakura.
Meet him and the others in the cafeteria at first floor.
Start the cutscene by talking to Itokura.

Go back to the Robotics Club and talk to Okitegawa and win the next match.
Then go to Round One of the RE Robo Rally and win.

CONTINUE THE ROBOTICS CLUB INVESTIGATION
This story takes a break in Chapter 4 and continues in Chapter 6.

Return to the Club Room on the 4th floor.
Amasawa will send a contact as soon as you're inside.
TALK TO AMASAWA AT THE MRC
After the chat, go back to the Club Room.

To prepare for the next match, you need to grind the practice matches.
Especially the "CLOSE CALL" match, since it seems to be the only place to get Super-durable Rubber.
This match plays very offensive. I made the best experience to win to equip my other 1 AI robots with a sniper rifle and the other 2 with the Gorilla Hammer

Ended up winning Team NT with highest possible upgrades, the sniper and 2 gorillas.
Return to the Club Room after the Ramen Meal to grind and upgrade some more to win the next match against SDRD International.

Win the Match against SDRD and then against SAL Sotenbori.
Go out and away a couple of steps and go back into the Club Room.
Talk to Kurumazaki on the roof.
Go back to the Robotics Club to talk to the Team.
Talk to Itokura. She's at the MRC.
Tell her that she's grown up.

Return to the Robotics Club Room.
You now have new parts to upgrade your robots for the RE Robo Rally Final Tournament: Round 2.
Win the match.
Go back to the Robotics Club and talk to Okitegawa.
After the chat on the roof, go back to the Robotics Club. The team is outside the room.

Now new parts are unlocked and can win the next match against Koyama Academy Robotics Club.
You now get access to the blueprints cabinet and you can examine it with Amasawa.
Meet Up with Kurumazaki at the Cafeteria.
Talk to him to start the cutscene.

HEAD TO THE NEO KEIHIN GANG HIDEOUT
It's in the East of the map.
Unlock (Pick) the door and fight the thugs.
Return to the Robotics Club.

Prepare for the Finals.
Win the next Match against Ishii and His Merry Friends
Upgrade for the Finals and win.
Meet Tsukumo at the MRC
Go down to the MRC Club Room.
